You clearly haven't seen what he/she/they (delete as appropriate) posts on Twitter at all if that's the case. Jay Exci's timeline is 99% lukewarm pop-cultural takes, jokes about cum, and standard tranny talking points written in such a way that you'd swear they're being argued by a 13-year-old.

I could understand you maybe 'respecting'* him if you've only ever seen him on Youtube. I myself was taken in by his Doctor Who critique, even though I had my suspicions from the outset because of how he avoided any mention of the blatant progressive skinsuiting of that show in over 5 hours.

I think he even said at one point his motivation was to produce a critique that wasn't motivated by quote-unquote "bigotry" towards the first female Doctor. Even then, the coherence of that video was kinda a fluke. I've not seen him on EFAP, but literally everything else on his channel is criticising low-hanging fruit like Another Life and Paradise PD

Add to that the fact that he's an Elon Musk reply guy. Has been for over a year.

I’ve never seen a more textbook transparent case of AGP. He seems oblivious of what he’s supposed to be playing up and what he’s suppose to be toning down. Sex addiction derails and destroys lives. i also listened to the Dr Who video over a few days while working and liked it. then was only half-surprised when he trooned out. the video essay community is a major vector for agp trooning that isn’t discussed as much as it should be (cause you have to spend countless hours listening to autist videos about movies and vidya to notice). Jay is like the 4th or 5th big-name one to do this. my personal parasocial youtuber has become a reply guy for Jay lately and i’m like genuinely concerned it will happen to him too and ruin his videos lol.

you can actually get fucked up on poppy seed tea. it’s a real way to get high on opiates, not like some smoked banana peel bull. basically you take around a lb of seeds specifically meant for baking and soak them in water, morphine gets extracted from the outside/shells of the seeds, you drink the nasty water and are about as high as if you abused some prescription pills. there’s an especially pathetic subreddit about how people get addicted to it here. playing around with it is playing with fire and people talk about having to go on methadone to quit.
