Analytics have him as the second-worst starting QB since '94 (which is when they started recording detailed play-by-play stats.) The worst is Rosen.
Jets should have just traded for Jameis if the Saints weren't going to use him anyway. Yeah he's not great but he's on a vet min contract and anything would be better.
Panthers are benching Baker Mayfield for Sam Darnold. I am hoping Sam Darnold succeeds just because so Skip Bayless can eat shit....oh wait, if that happens then he'll talk about how good of a rookie Baker was and how he won a playoff game against the Steelers while Sam Darnold has done none of that.

Belichick is basically the Jets QB slayer. He's been paying them back for the Mo Lewis hit for 20 years now.
The 2007 opener that more or less ended Chad Pennington's career in NY? Against the Pats.
The buttfumble game that put Sanchez on the fast track towards an announcing career? Against the Pats.
The "seeing ghosts" game for Sam Darnold? Against the Pats.
And now Wilson got baited into saying he didn't let down his defense in a 10-3 loss to the Pats.
Jerry Jones and Dak Sucker did an interview this morning where they pretty much implied OBJ is gonna sign with them. I'm gonna laugh my ass off if he doesn't.
Also, rumor has it he's demanding 20 mil for a one year deal. Any team with that sort of cap space right now isn't in a position to make the playoffs.

Jerruh dishing out for a fringe WR3 coming off his second ACL tear when his team's run-heavy would be extremely on brand. I do not understand actual OBJ hype among teams, if anything there's even odds that second tear was a career-ender.
Assuming it's just for this season it'd be prorated to about $6.6m. Jerruh might have to flip over some couch cushions but I think they could fit that.
There's no fucking way he's worth that much though. Send him to the Bucs' Retirement Home of Wide Receivers That Move Slow.
Jerry Jones has owned the Dallas Cowboys since 1989 and is arguably the league's best known executive. His hands-on approach as an owner, being involved in athletic decisions...

Ok, does anyone have a higher traffic forum they use for football discussion that isn't reddit?
Because I've been banned from /r/NFL for like the 4th time now because one of the head mods is a Russell Wilson-cum-Broncos fan and I keep making fun of his team in game threads. I remember him being one of the most obnoxious assholes over the summer because of the Russ trade too, peak reddit janny bullshit.
How do you not make fun of an offense that is incapable of putting up more than 1 sad, solitary field goal against the 2022 Panthers?!
The only notable thing the Broncos have done this year was getting bought by the Rob Walton. Russel Wilson's play of his career was that 1 yard pass to Malcolm Butler.
I do t know why, but it’s rather funny to me that teams like the Buccaneers and the Rams are playing under mediocre to just barely OK conditions, yet the Jets and Giants are surprisingly doing well this season.
