Honestly if his folks are hardcore religious fundies my theory is that he sat down to piss when he was little as kids sometimes do and he was harshly punished for it, and that's why he has this intense insistence that boys absolutely must pee standing up. I hope I'm wrong because if I'm right his parents terrorized a severely autistic child for going to the bathroom wrong.

If that's the case, does that mean they never expected him to shit? Or did they force him to do that standing up?

In either case, they'd be terrible parents. But then again, he ain't so right in the head as it is. So It'd go both ways.

I didn't grow up in a religious household so I have no idea what pissing standing has to do with Christianity. I hope what you said is wrong, too, that'd be so fucked up if it's true.
