A lot of Carson's supporters hate both Trump and Cruz; the former for comparing Carson to a child molester, and the latter (to a far greater extent) for telling voters that Carson was dropping out at the start of the Iowa caucus. If this were a normal presidential election, I'd agree with you 100%. This is the weirdest election in decades, though.

Absolutely. No one does that much direct mail that hard for that long; while it pulls in a large amount of money, it costs a lot to do. Just take a look at the people that money went to and their connections to the campaign.

I just wish that Feldman and Kerbel would go away. They're that perfect combination of delusional and annoying, and their supporters have been, from my experience, some of the most obnoxious commentators in third party/independent circles. Regardless, the Libertarian convention ought to be really interesting this year, especially with Johnson, McAfee, and, to a lesser extent, Petersen.

But this alliance now seems to be over. According to three Fox sources, Fox chief Roger Ailes has told people he's lost confidence in Rubio's ability to win. "We're finished with Rubio," Ailes recently told a Fox host. "We can't do the Rubio thing anymore."

Ailes was already concerned about Rubio's lackluster performance in GOP primaries and caucuses, winning only one contest among the 15 that have been held. But the more proximate cause for the flip was an embarrassing New York Times article revealing that Rubio and Ailes had a secret dinner meeting in 2013 during which the Florida senator successfully lobbied the Fox News chief to throw his support behind the "Gang of 8" comprehensive immigration-reform bill. "Roger hates seeing his name in print," a longtime Ailes associate told me. "He was appalled the dinner was reported," the source said.

Already, there are on-air signs that Fox's attitude toward Rubio has cooled. This morning, anchor Martha MacCallum grilled Rubio about his poor Super Tuesday performance. "Is that a viable excuse at this point?" she asked, when he tried spinning his second-place finish in Virginia.

This phenomena doesn't bode well for Hillary. If you thought Donald Trump was that ultimate way to flip off the GOP, he's going to be an affront three times worst for the Democrats. All of them are going to have Chris Christie face come November.

Dumb shit aside I feel like the problem with Sanders' campaign is he seems to appeal the most to people who are more likely to write internet pieces about why you should vote for him instead of, I dunno, actually voting for him.

I think that says less about the campaign and more about his supporters, people under 30.

Weren't Ron Paul supporters doing complicated stuff that was somehow scoring delegates? Those guys were amazing. They did the complicated tasks that required them to understand things beyond understand and putting forth EFFORT.

Then I remember those guys were young like these young liberals. I was never a Democrat so can say for certain what all their flaws are. Ron Paul's libertarian seems to properly instill a concept of cause and effect which other young people struggle with.

tl:dr democrats under 30 have personal issues.

This isn't necessarily a bad strategy. Winning over habitual non-voters can pay major electoral dividends - it's a large part of why Obama won so handily in 2008, he pulled in a lot of people who had been long term non-voters, sometimes lifetime non-voters. In this sense, electorally at least, Bernie is definitely Obama's heir.

Of course Clinton's strategy, which is to win over people who habitually vote but aren't strongly committed to either party, isn't that dumb either.
 
This shit with the superdelegates and the public execution of the Sanders Revolution has utterly disgusted me with the Democrats. I actually like the party significantly less at this point than the Republicans, and they have a natsoc leading the polls.

I've also read a horrifying article in The Atlantic this afternoon. The worst part is I can really see Trump attacking Hillary from the left and making it pay dividends since he's never once been committed to anything but his own fat face enough to care about turning on a dime.
 
Some of his videos are decent, but he tends to go into a spergy frenzy over the littlest things.
