We're quickly approaching the 2-year anniversary of In The Black's release date.

Reminder: he has neither a publisher nor a finished book in the can. He chose to spend all of Covid getting shitfaced in his house off Maker's Mark instead of writing anything new.

So quick legal question about the debt he owes Quasi since it hasn't been mentioned enough he owes Quasi money. It's been a while, interest is making his debt even worse. Is there even a deadline? It's probably a stupid question to ask but how long has it been since he lost $100k for a failed lolsuit? I'd assume debt collectors or something would've been involved by now or a while ago at this point. Sorry if this was answered already WAY BACK in the thread that I couldn't spot.

Quasi hired Jerry Jen, a lawyer who is considered one of the top creditor/debtor specialists in Los Angeles. The last we heard, he tried to get info from the SFWA regarding any financial exchanges between them and Patrick, they hired a self-proclaimed "super-lawyer" to hide all communication.

There is talk of a Debtor's Examination where Patrick will be forced to answer any questions about his finances (or face jailtime). It's also a problem if you have a court-ordered sanction and instead choose to publicly go on lavish vacations before declaring bankruptcy, which Patrick is currently doing.

It's a pending legal issue and we don't want to screw anything up for Quasi/Jerry so it's mostly "Trust the process" at this point. The cogs are in motion and we'll hear about it when the court docs come out.

I followed this guy on Twitter for about a millisecond before he blocked me for no god damn reason. He is a fucking gold mine of how not to Internet on par with Chris Chan. His pinned tweet isn't trying to sell one of his shitty books(I assume shitty) but a rambling tweet thread about being bullied by the gosh darn trawls.

I had no interest in him until I started reading his thread here. The worst thing you can do with O and A pests is acknowledge them. This dude has all the tropes of someone who is terminally online. He responds to every asshole. He's an Internet tough guy. And has a smugness only the most exceptional of psuedo intellectual individuals can possess. Great job sending me down this rabbit hole of retardation OP.
