I find it hard to believe that the same fat retard calling someone out for tautologies, is the same person who is a-ok with a word being used in it's own definition i.e. "There is nothing wrong with saying 'a woman is anyone who considers themselves a woman.'"

Here's a tweet between Someordinarygamers and Vaush where vaush just comes out and admits he supports silencing people. Then he throws in the old commie buzzword "anti-intellectual". For context this is about Andrew Tate being banned and SOG was arguing deplatforming only pushed people to more extreme offshoot websites and ideas (which is true). When you start pushing to ban people for unpopular views you open the door to ban tons of people who didn't even break twitter TOS.

How is deplatforming people you disagree with not anti intellectual? I think what he really means by that term usually is "doesn't agree with the university consensus".

"anti-intellectual" is just a codeword for disagreeing with the academic establishment. He would call a renowned scientist with 3 PhD's and a large body of published research anti-intellectual if their findings even slightly disagreed with the media's portrayal of the scientific community's beliefs on issues like climate change, youth transition, covid vaccines, etc. If academia at large had a pendulum swing he'd either retire the term or say that there is a "fascist subversion of intellectualism" or something like along those lines

I might be alone in this but I love these videos he makes where he tries to analyze media like movies, anime, music, etc. They're just so fucking bad. And they're not bad in the same way his political takes are bad, they're just beyond garbage. I can't believe he keeps making a fool of himself over and over, like there has been a revival for 90's aesthetics for a while now. The only possible way you could have this bad of a take is if you weren't online or that you were baitclicking.
