Man Who Robbed Kim Kardashian at Gunpoint Shows No Remorse, Blames Her

As if entering someone’s hotel room and stealing $10 million worth of jewelry at gunpoint weren’t brazen enough, one of the men who held up Kim Kardashian in 2016 recently announced in an interview that he feels no guilt over the incident—while acknowledging its traumatic effects on his victim.

In an interview for Vice’s Crimewave, Yunis Abbas described how he and his, uh, coworkers (dubbed “the grandpa robbers” in the press because their ages ranged from 60 to 72) planned and pulled off the high-profile heist. They clocked and tracked Kardashian via social media, overpowered the concierge of the hotel where Kardashian was staying, and used his access to barge into her room. When asked by Vice how familiar he was with Kardashian prior to the robbery, Abbas gave a shady, “I honestly didn’t really know her,” in French.
But! He knew he enough of her to understand that she deserved to be robbed, at least via his moral calculus. “I saw one of her shows where she threw her diamond in the pool in that episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. I thought, ‘She’s got a lot of money. This lady doesn’t care at all,’” said Abbas.

“Since she was throwing money away, I was there to collect it and that was that,” he said. Vice asked if he felt guilty. Nope! “Guilty? No, I don’t care,” he said with a chuckle. “I don’t care.” He does, though, admit that she must have been traumatized, “No doubt. Yes, of course. You don’t come out of it unscathed. We didn’t expect this. Of course she must have been traumatized. I don’t doubt it.” He says it all so matter of factly it’s like he took notes from Hannibal Lector’s book of etiquette on how to terrorize politely before the interview. Kardashian reported that she feared she was about to be raped when the men entered her room.

Regarding tips for other celebrities who don’t want to get robbed, Abbas said this: “They should be a little less showy towards people who can’t afford it. For some people, it’s provocative.” Imagine if Robin Hood were a total fucking creep.

I generally like "law and order", but when that is only to protect rich scum like Kardashians while the plebs get fucked in the ass 24/7, don't expect me to have sympathy for "influencers".
In my ideal state, these "influencers" would pick cotton and corn for us.
I'm still against robbing mom&pop shops by bands of disorganized nignogs and the sort, that's despicable.
Just go prey on the actually rich, please.

This writer simping hard for Kardashian. She still to this day shoves her unearned wealth in the world's face, so it clearly didn't change her that much.

it is indeed a bit difficult to feel pity or compassion for "girl who got rich and famous for making a nigger sex tape and having a big ass"

She can go out and buy 10 mill in more jewelry like a regular person buys a cup of coffee. Kartrashians are famous for no reason at all. Like Paris Hilton only with less wonky eyes.

Eat the rich.

It's the same argument that the geniuses at /r/shoplifting used, basically they have so much money that they deserve it.

Aside from that, if you're gonna walk around documenting your entire life and showing off how much cash/valuables you regularly walk around with, maybe don't be surprised when someone decides to rob you.

Exactly. I used to live in a neighborhood where if you had fancy cars and flaunted your wealth, you'd get robbed and your car would either get broken into or stolen outright. Now I live around a more affluent area, and everyday I see people with their doors unlocked and their shit wide open. It's like they don't care, or never had to. Even now knowing I'm in a really safe neighborhood I still keep guns in a cabinet and a weapon near my bed just out of habit and lock my shit up safely.

If people know you have money just by looking at you you're doing it wrong.

They're famous for a reason: they're one of LA's original lolcow families. Their dad started it by simping for OJ simpson

Wow, really sick burns there. "He says it all so matter of factly it’s like he took notes from Hannibal Lector’s book of etiquette on how to terrorize politely before the interview"? The fuck does that mean? Rich Juzwiak isn't some 22-year-old intern, he's a senior editor and has been around for over a decade. You'd think just with practice he'd be approaching the status of "decent writer."

Anyway, Karl Lagerfeld said basically the same thing right after the robbery happened:

"I don't understand why she was in a hotel with no security and think like this," the 83-year-old designer began. "If you are that famous and you put all your jewelry on the net, you go to hotels where nobody can come near to the room. You cannot display your wealth and then be surprised that some people want to share it with you."

I would take it and wear it as butt jewelry proudly displaying it on social media just to make the dumb bitch angry.

No one really "deserves" to be robbed. But if you make a long, LONG series of very poor decisions that leads to you getting robbed without taking a moment to reconsider how vulnerable you're making yourself, your victim card isn't really worth shit. I imagine for a lot of people, a Kardashian's "trauma" is worth it's weight in cash.
