I don't know much more about Hungary than Phillip does, but for some reason I don't think they like uneducated American kids who've never even seen a real Hungarian condescendingly calling them godless and "chained to the power of satan and hell" in what's basically a middle school powerpoint presentation.
Should be interesting to see what happens whenever he starts his "work" there

Zsu is a Hungarian-German fundie whose husband is the very straight and very angry pastor Stephen Andersen. Apart from being KJV-only quiverfull fundies they have almost nothing in common. Fat Dave is everything Steve preaches against, Jill's makeup obsession would make them worldly harlots and Zsu (until she eventually checked out) used copious amounts of butter and cream, made large from-scratch organic meals and actually homeschooled the kids. They're way more militant than the Rods. They believe in killing the gays as opposed to love the sinner/hate the sin, they're Holocaust (and Sandy Hook) truthers, they believe in judgement over forgiveness and although they believe in having a million kids they don't call themselves Quiverfull or have anything to do with Gothard. Steve absolutely abhors the Duggars and their ilk, because they're worldly and do the bible wrong.
Steve loves to "debate" other pastors (by which I mean scream over the top of them in the street while they try to get a word in) and is especially passionately opposed to works-based salvation (the idea you need to do good things to get into heaven). He very much believes you don't have to do shit to get into heaven other than accept Jesus as your personal saviour and in fact believes helping others is wrong because you should only be focused on your own family and maybe your congregation (as long as you're in his, anyway).
There's no direct conflict between them other than Zsu making snarky references to other fundies doing it wrong from time to time. I'm not sure that Zsu has ever referenced the Rods. Steve will talk shit directly about specific fundies in his sermons, but ususally they're just other pastors whose theology he disagrees with rather than focusing on famous families like The Bates or Duggars. Zsu's blog (called Are They All Yours?) is this bizarre mixture of cute kids crafts and homophobic screeds about stoning the gays. She used to be seen as the "best" fundie mum purely because her homeschooling included real subjects like maths and some science, she would make real food for the kids, and she didn't just purely pass the kids off on the other kids.
Then at some point after she lost one of the twins in her twin pregnancy she sort of checked out. Fun fact: For years Zsu railed against male OBGYNs because they're all perverts and female OBGYNs, while a necessary evil, are bad because they should be being stay-at-home mums. When she had that high risk twin pregnancy she did indeed see an evil male OBGYN but they of course had to be awful and say it was okay for HER but not for anyone else because she "retained her modesty" (ie he didn't directly look at her vagina).

I don't have religion but I must say I respect the Andersens' lifestyle more than the brazen hypocrisy of Quiverfulls, Gothardites and IBL...Paeans? (please advise on the grammar here).

It is wonderful to see such a genuine smile on that poor woman’s face. It is equally sad to see it, because it proved she is as mentally confused as Jill says, what with having her daughter jammed up her ass and fussing around as she is. Bless her, may she continue to get rest and grow stronger, now that the staff appears to have grown a backbone.
re: Hungarians. The best we can hope is that they see Philip, with his traveling ministry ways, emancipated body and whacked facial features, and mistake him for Roma. He will be run out of every respectable town and have his belongings and sense of security ravaged by the actual Roma, if the Police don’t get to him first.

They're absolute shitcunts, don't get me wrong. But they practice what they preach, if you will, as opposed to Jill who starves her children & paints herself like a prostitute out of an issue of Viz, and Dave, who performs zero labour in stark contradiction to the pseudo-Calvinist "headship" he preaches. They're also rabid Republicans (in the American political party sense, not the anti-monarchy sense), and yet live off of government welfare programs.

I thought it was those white scotch mints and was imagining mixing chips and mints together and eating them like trail mix.
It was even worse actually. She didn't even give birth in a hospital. She gave birth in a crappy birthing centre, unaffiliated with a hospital. Some of them are attached to hospitals for emergencies and all the midwives there are specialized obstetrical nurses (nurse midwives).
I wonder if nurse midwives even attended or if it was just crappy, online certified midwives. I bet she just let the tear heal on its own. Who knows the damage that would be caused by it healing with no medical intervention.
I feel she is going to hurt one of her nieces/nephews one day. Not necessarily on purpose, but it's possible. She seems immature, possibly prone to jealousy due to being treated like a baby and has a very serious brain deformity she is getting no professional help for. She should be in SPED in public school, getting SLP and OT etc.
Kind of hard to learn numbers better when your mother is dumb enough to drink Plexus while pregnant and give you a lifelong neurological disability and thinks MLMs can be profitable. Her only blessing is being the least ugly of Jill's little mutt brood.

Maybe the friendly local Hungarians will even teach him about (real, non-fundie) Jesus and help him learn some basic life skills.
As a side note: hearing Janessa attempt to count is heartbreaking considering she's 5 and not 3.

They openly preach virulent sexism and blaming the victims of rape so that all seems pretty ideologically consistent to me. My post wasn't a defense, rather was referring to the get a job, look modest, raise your children instead of starving them.
