I really don't understand how someone can be a member here for so long and still not understand basic opsec. This site even goes further than most in spelling out how important it is and people still screw it up.

The forum wasn't like this and didn't have those warnings back when the older users joined. It was just an obscure retard watching forum, not the widely-reviled doxing bullyzone it is today. Like, there used to be a thread where people regularly posted their facedox, that's how different it was. When the 2019 hack happened a bunch of people left and Null completely scrubbed their accounts because they'd signed up with school emails that had their full names and shit.

Don't get me wrong, the dude's still retarded. He could've easily changed his name to something that wasn't tied to his real identity before sperging about trannies in such a highly-trafficked thread. He could've just not said some stupid shit that guaranteed people would go digging for embarrassing dirt on him. Just saying it's not too surprising that an older member who barely ever uses the site would still have a personally identifiable username.

I'll admit that I know little about early KF. I just assumed those warnings were always there. My bad. It makes a bit more sense in that case.
