Of all the cases this is honestly one of the few cases I really feel for all parties involved.
I also have a lot of questions that need to be asked as well. 10 year olds just don't commit suicide. There needs to be some serious looks into the child's upbringing.

But assuming everything is kosher and the mom is just a grifting idiot.
Mom loves her only son so much that when he literally kills himself she refuses to let go. It might not make rational sense but any normal person would snap this is a very serious mental trauma.

I very much believe Archie had to have experienced some massive abuse because 10/11 year olds don't just neck themselves not even as a joke.

shit does not involve what Archie did.. she was looking for anything to point to when the truth is the kid was depressed and tried more than once so instead of getting him help she just ignored it..

Outside of martyrdom and self sacrifice as well as mercy killing. (this comes from a Catholic upbringing) Suicide is less forgivable then murder. When you murder someone you don't destroy their soul. But when one kills themselves they doom themselves to an eternity in limbo.

As for him I honestly wonder what horrors had been pushed on him because normal 10/11 year olds don't neck themselves. Even kids in the ghetto don't neck themselves.
 
Ok, I keep reading the word 'passed'. Wasn't the kid basically dead since May? You really can't be considered alive when you're finding bits of rotten brain matter in the lower lumbar spinal column right?

I tend to assume that it's for one of two reasons:

A. They don't actually believe any of what the Bible says about heaven and the resurrection of the dead because they're just LARPing as Christians for social/moral clout or because it's how they grew up and they don't know any other way to be. They may talk the talk pretty well, but when something like this happens they lose their shit because they don't actually believe what they're saying and they're scared of death. Hollie is an example of this kind of person. She's as much a real Christian as CWC is a True and Honest woman.

B. They're the kind of Christian that seems to thinks God is a miracle-dispensing genie who will give you whatever you ask for if you just pray really really hard and can't handle it when they find out it doesn't work like that. This is where I'd classify people like Dugan Sherbondy and the Heiligenthal family, both of whom insisted that Jesus was gonna fix their brain-dead/all-dead kid right up and were baffled and frustrated when He didn't come through.

I was trying to figure out why this picture made me so uncomfortable the other night when it was posted. Besides the coloring, his hand is in a very unnatural position, it almost looks like his arm was already in rigour mortis. There is also no wrinkles on any of his knuckles. Usually when someone is brain damaged their hands will curl up into a tight ball. You see it with CP kids, but with Archie there was nothing, he was just literally a displayed corpse with no muscle contractions. Makes it really clear.

RIP Archie. No more lonely nights waiting for mum to come home.

If you fully read the OP, it tells you all you need to know about how Archie was treated. He was just an item to Hollie. Just a thing she bragged about to her friends and took endless pictures of. She expected him to perform as a good object of admiration, and also injected him with ideas of gender dysphoria/crossdressing. Having a psycho narcissist as a mom isn't particularly healthy.
