That along with NAFTA and corrupt Unions. All three of which were created and or fueled primarily due to the Dems policies, but its "inconvenient" to point out their consistently either unintentional shitty governance due to blatant stupidity (if your optimistic) or blatant corruption (if your a realist).

And here we thought everything was fixed with the ending of Jon's Starcade... Makes me wonder if it's not all the people around Arin that put the devil's suit on Jon.

All 50 of them or how many he hired to just agree with him.

Arin didn't have much to do with (some) of the internet turning on Jon. Sure, there's probably some Grumps that disliked Jon because he left, but it was that debate with...Destiny(?) where he made a wrongspeak comment about immigration which led to a cancellation attempt. It definitely got him some amount of negative attention, but it was pretty minor all things considered and mostly a footnote in internet history. Some of Arin's loyal fans will definitely use it as evidence though that the show was actually bad back then, but I don't think Arin ever really commented on it or tried to fan the flames, at least not publicly.
 
Well they still have all the old Jon episodes up, so if Arin tried to throw him under the bus that's a big chunk of youtube money down the drain.
 
So I came across this interview about Game Grumps' new game Homebody, host by Jirard the Completionist over on Xplay's YouTube Channel.


I didn't care enough to watch it and I wasn't alone in that aspect as the video is currently sitting at 6.5K views on a channel with about 500K subs, making it the second worst viewed video on the channel for the past couple months, something that even some of the comments pointed out.

So the only thing I really figured out is that the game is going to be a non-combat survival horror puzzle game, which I'm pretty sure is just a fancy way of saying, "Slender Clone".

If anyone actually wants to watch the video and give an accurate summary, go for it.
 
Nothing too crazy in the video. It's a horror/puzzle game that uses the groundhog day time loop. The concept art they showed looked good, but the game itself looks like crap. Seriously it looks like one of those stupid CGI movies that ripoff Disney and Pixar films. Arin says some BS about how everything is purposely out of focus to make it more atmospheric. More like they wanted to keep the budget as low as possible.
 
I think Homebody looks pretty good, personally. I love weird, nostalgic horror games, and (at least for me) 'nostalgic' means the Playstation/N64 era of gaming vs. retro-pixel stuff. I think the Grumps mostly make garbage, but if they're going to throw money at indie games at least this one kind of seems neat.

But also lol at Arin saying they're on good terms with Jon while also saying that the weird racist tirades he's gone on will keep him from ever being on the show. What a weird thing to willingly address.

At least he's actually promoting this game like a normal fucking person but still, he's fucked up right away by making out that it's solely a Game Grumps game by shoving the logo and his face alongside it. I mean fuck, his face alone is enough to deter people because nobody outside the Game Grumps fandom even likes Arin anymore lol. They should just do what they did with Dream Daddy and just shove a trailer on the channel and share it around to journalists or something. Arin shouldn't have anything to do with the games' marketing
