I remember some old Instagram post of his where he shows that he just dumps a bunch of treats in front of Jasper and expects him to eat it all. I'm honestly surprised that the poor little cat hasn't become Fhet Khet-sized yet, but that's probably because he actually has more self-control than his owners :story:

Gotta give credit where it's due, Phil actually got me to laugh. There's a lot of classic Phil gold here, complaining about trolls, trying to brag about follow numbers while pointing out how few likes he gets and not realizing that, hey, maybe all those followers are actually people who hate you. Bragging about view counts in some attempt to go viral, coping that the "silent majority" supports him. Trying to imply that his "joke" was hilarious in the first place and being dumbfounded that people aren't losing their minds over a minor graphic glitch. It's always great when Phil gets upset over something like this because you can tell how much it actually means to him/how funny he thought he was being, only for it to flop so hard. Oh, and added bonus of late night tweet on his day off.

I honestly feel a little bad for Phil here, he’s so fucking stupid and delusional he’s convinced himself everyone else is afraid of trolls, and that he’s got an endless army of fans just hiding in the shadows. He’s also so egotistical he checks his tweet activity or metrics or whatever it’s called and genuinely thinks impressions equal fans

I don't know what's more hilarious: Phil clearly still afraid of DAH TROLLS, or the fact that he's still using Kat as a tool for his business. Nice healthy relationship you have there, Phil.

The funny part about it for me is that, you can see his genuine dent head fans chatting him up in his streams (well only some with a crown, the rest either clown on him or a trolls), in his gated off YouTube comment section where he likes/hearts those comments and people who respond to his posts on his community YouTube tab that aren't tongue in cheek or sneak dissing, it's not as if Phil is completely oblivious to the fact that he does have some genuine fans out there that watch and support him, no matter how small the actual numbers of them are.

But he's trying super hard to seek validation and to appear more popular and relevant then he actually is to his followers (so much for doing your own thing and sticking to being a "level 1 streamer huh Phil?). On twitter is where he chases the most clout out of anywhere else, preventing the ability for people to reply to him without him following people is absolutely killing him inside, he most certainly wants to see people coming in droves replying to his comments and repeating like a parrot the same thing he's saying without any discourse, but he can't because he's too much of a pussy bitch and is afraid about generating flak and negative attention from da trolls.

It's baffling to me with all this time and effort people put into videos, restreams, tracking his income and spending (which I do appreciate) 95% of the detractor content is either one minute clips or six hour slogfests. Sometimes I finish a game and wonder how DSP fucked it up and look up a TIHYDP, skip 20 minutes of "hello ladies and gentlemen listen to me bullshit about the game", watch for 20 minutes and close the vid. Nobody not aware of his reputation is gonna watch those vids in 2022 where people can hold their breath longer than their attention span.

A smaller cow like KingCobraJFS with a similar stream time/gold dust ratio has content creators that make these 5-10 minute highlight videos, I think a similar approach with DSP would do well. This week on DSP, DSP shits on his wife for 10 minutes, a series where you show his clout chase tweets like the Will Smith one and the one defending gamedevs from the other day and follow it up with clips of him talking about slapping the 11yo and shitting on Druckmann two days after his tweet.

Maybe there are channels like that but they get drowned out from all the other stuff, maybe it's for the best there aren't any for all the thousands more laughing at him there'd be a new dent giving him his disability check.

This is coming from Phillip burnell, the guy who loved ride to hell and sonic 06, some of the buggiest games of their generation. Not to mention he's saying this about greedfall of all fucking games, the first big hit from spiders, a comparatively small developer and it didn't release 60 bucks. Mountains out of molehills I fucking swear.

It's denial. He knows that his audience is tiny, he just doesn't want to truly admit it. He's also had no idea what metrics mean for years. He genuinely thought that channel views were individual fans and used it to beg. "if 10 percent of 2 million gave me a dollar on patreon".

Leave the vortex for a while and it will move on without you. I remember pointing out weird things like the pride slide and him complaining about white male characters, but this along with the pronouns in instagram bio confirm one thing in my mind; the Seattle Air has finally gone from his back to his brain. There's even his bullshitting about how the option isn't enough and either take it out or leave it as is, no middle ground despite him getting what he wanted- an option for no nudity.

Just realized by the way- does Phil even like fighting outside of wrestling? I know he doesn't watch wrestling outside of WWE and Champions and his incognito window while the camera's off so the answer should be obvious, but he does realize fighting normally involves wearing less clothing? Boxers are trunks, shoes, and gloves, maybe a headpiece depending on the match or spar. MMA is also trunks and specific gloves, but they don't use shoes. Then again not only is he low T, those are (when not rigged) actual fighting and not dudes holding each other in play fights like WWE, so his attention span isn't long enough without some kind of plot and lots of man handling with not a lot of blood.

Also lol his like begging is leaking onto other platforms. He really is a creature of addiction, now he's starting to itch for validation likes.
