Former contributor and target of Spoony's lust comes out as transgender:
He had previously been in a relationship with another Channel Awesome contributor, Nash. This relationship was creepy it it's own right because of the apparent age gap between them. Also a lot of TGWTG/Channel Awesome fanboys would lust over him when he was just plain Hope.
What does this really say about the Channel Awesome community as a whole? This is kind of stuff you could write a thesis on. In any event, I wish JesuOtaku luck with the transition. Something always seemed a little off about Hope as a female.

EDIT: It should be noted that they dated when she was younger, like 19 I think? So he was well in his 30's at the time.

From what I can piece together of the limited knowledge I have, I kind of get the feeling she was using him to get away from her own family - who are apparent bible-thumpers. This is if I'm recalling correctly. It really makes sense though. Nash seems like he never progressed passed the age of 21.

Isn't she engaged to that guy now? They're still together. So does that make him gay? I'm not being a dick, it's just...if a guy I was dating said to me, "I'm actually a female and will be living as such from now on," I wouldn't be disgusted or anything, but I wouldn't continue the relationship. I would love them as a friend.

Anyone familiar with JesuOtaku/Hope Chapman knows this bitch is a narcissist to the nth degree. She cheated on Nash and took his house, most likely fucking this second guy--Zac Berstchy of Anime News Network--to get a job (her qualifications at the time she was hired included making video reviews no one watched and blowing the executive editor), and when the Lupa fiasco happened at Channel Awesome she tried to insert herself into it and make it about her. She'll lie about people to make herself seem the victim, she'll attack her audience if they give her anything less than their adoration, the list goes on and on and on. She's got a history. Now the attention train is slowing down, and she's already established as jumping on the whole SJW thing, so she hops onto the transsexuality bandwagon to make everything about her again, not caring how it'll effect the man she's engaged to. She has as much legitimate gender dysphoria as Chris-Chan, in my opinion. Hell, just look at her reasoning in the video ("I knew I was a trans male because I had an eating disorder"...?).
And of course, one of her first tweets since? "Look at the attention I'm getting!"
