It doesn't really need gatekeeping, all it needs is community moderators who aren't afraid of kicking troons when they begin exhibiting problematic tranny behaviour. While they can be insidious and worm their way into moderation (many communities have been lost in this way), if they actually get the boot, they'll just cry to other trannies about how it's a bad place. Maybe it'll get brigaded occasionally since troons love doing that, but other than that what the fuck can they do? And there's 0 risk of trannies being "stealth", because they out themselves constantly. I had to leave an ffxiv server because one kept sending me unsolicited nudes, even after I had asked them to stop, because the moderators didn't see it as being problematic, but claimed I was being unreasonable and hostile when I had blocked them.
