Cool that they're remaking PacMan World, since as far as gameplay and a few other areas it really could use a version without some of the bullshit that was present in that game. Kinda wish they did PacMan World 2 though, that's my favorite.

Edit: As far as Nier goes on Switch, yeah that thing is gonna chug like never seen before. Pretty much every version of that game has some sort of ridiculous tech issue. The Xbox port had some weird texture issues, the PC version didn't even work without a mod. Would not surprise me if the Switch version has constant crashes or is so blurry you can't see shit.

That Pac-MAn game looked good actually. How is it?

PacMan World 1 and 2 are pretty good, but they're very different games. World 1 is kinda more like Crash Bandicoot, whereas World 2 is more like a very fun mix of Sonic and Mario. World 3 sucks ass.
Edit: World 2 also has a great soundtrack.

Unless the people porting it are Panic Button-level wizards, lol no! It'll run like absolute shit.
It's confirmed to be 1080p docked & 720p in portable mode, 30fps in either case.

Also consider the recent Switch ports of 13 Sentinels, running the TD sections better than the base PS4, and Demon Slayer (an Unreal Engine 4 game), looking virtually no different than on PS5. Maybe there might be some optimization issues but I'm rather optimistic overall.

I never played the Battle Network games but does this mean we're finally getting Mega Man Legends collection next!?

Well, with that, it seems Not-E3 2022 has bitten the dust. Literally 2 things to look forward to out of the whole thing for me (that spooky Metroidvania shown during Xbox and Pac Man World 1 remake during Ninty). Everything else ranged from meh to outright garbage. *sigh*

Not E3 2022, the show where the hack Kojima announces he’s making a game but has nothing else to show. Can’t wait to buy the new shitting simulator.

My reaction to the entire month of gaming reveals:

It's gonna be a long, dark winter for gaming. No one wants to make any fun, unique games... just crappy remasters and dead-on-arrival wokified esports failures. Well, thank goodness for Elden Ring saving this year from being a total joke.

The PS4 version of NieR Automata was 900p, and going off the video didn't even look close to that res for the switch. Likely mean outputted to 1080p rather than running at.

This year still had plenty of new good games though, you're not exactly looking hard enough (or your personal tastes are that specific)
-Atelier Sophie 2
-Pocky & Rocky Reshrined
-Kirby and the Forgotten Land
-Fire Emblem Three Hopes (at least my impression from the long demo was positive)
-TMNT Shredder Revenge

I have yet to play Triangle Strategy, Yomawari 3 and The Centennial Case but I'm confident they would entertain me

And among promising upcoming games, there are:
-Earth Defense Force 6
-Grand Diver
-Live A Live
-Xenoblade 3
-Gunvolt Chronicles 2
-Gundam SD Battle Alliance
-Labyrinth of Zangetsu
-GrimGrimoire Oncemore

Fairly sure the content expansions for Cuphead and Monster Hunter Rise are also coming in 2 days.
I can safely ignore Elden Ring for this entire year and concentrate on these other releases in the meantime

I've bought over 50 Switch games since February and I'll be buying more for the rest of the year.
Granted, the majority of them are games that are either Asia or Japan only (with English) but I've been quite happy with the output for the Switch this year. And with Live A Live and Xenoblade 3, I'll be playing into next year.

But I probably won't be playing the Persona games. Persona Central is saying that P5 is getting a physical release (which I just bought over the Xmas holidays on sale) and P3/P4 will be digital only - which is lame and gay.
