I was looking into Mario + Rabbids recently, and came across articles reeeing about Mario having a gun. I know Moviebob did that, but that's Moviebob. He's a lolcow that hated Yoshi's Island because it confirmed Mario wasn't from Brooklyn. I don't know if that was a mainstream opinion or just journos and Moviebob. Either way though, it being babies first xcom (or babies first fire emblem) seemed to rub some the wrong way and I never really heard about it since.

So it's weird to see Nintendo fans port begging for it. Especially since IT IS A SWITCH GAME.

It's not port begging, they announced a sequel and then went radio silent as Nintendo is wont to do.
It's kinda annoying. Either they announce something a month before release or half a decade before release.

Mario vs Rabbids 2 might be good if they make Rabbids optional team members, and just make it a simple "save the princess" story. The maps and combat were pretty shaky too, it really just needs to improve everything.

I hope it bodes better than Taitos other attempts, Their collections in the past always had some issues be it improperly mapped controls(or no option to use an alternate like a light gun), poor frame rates or performance in general.

Cool, a BattleNetwork collection and a Pac-Man world Remake, was not expecting those. Shame that they're doing that thing they do with Megaman collections and splitting them apart.

Was Bomberman R really that good that it needs a sequel? It honestly looks like an asset flip.

These are all last gen ports to try and wring money out of everything before the transition period to the PS5/Xbox Series X ends and then you're forced to sell old games as new HD remasters which requires some work done to them.
