They invented lolicon, which is pedophilic, and yaoi, which is gay. They're responsible for the creation of neckbeards, weeaboos and manchildren, and for brainwashing kids into trooning out.
 
I think they could make it up by returning to their roots and cutting themselves off from the world once more.
 
I'm inclined to cut them some slack for how good the 80's anime scene was...but only some.

Also, you're a post 90's Warhammer 40k fan. You got NO place giving anyone else smoke for being a neckbeard/manchild.

The only issue is that from what I understand anime didn't exist until after we dropped the bombs, around mid 1950s, because their culture was all kinds of fucked and they picked up anime from Western animation styles, so if anything it was kind of like revenge for the nukes.

Of course I think there was always something wrong with the Japanese. I've tried multiple times to look up an explanation for why they're obsessed with shoving raw or even live animals in their mouths, and I've never been able to find a reason. I think they just enjoy it.

Eff off, youngling. I stopped watching anime with any regularity once the tape trading scene died out, and I commanded a joint Imperial Guard (notAstra Militarium, dammit) and Squat force in Epic 40k and sent Chaos simps routing and burning before you were out of diapers, machine head! I mastered the art of the 1812 Overture build before it had a name! Back when 40k was actually GOOD.

Serious talk; Anime is no different than any other medium. 80% of it is bland drek, 15% of it is irredeemable garbage, and 5% is genuinely inspired and creative work. It really doesn't warrant any more hate than western animation at this point.
