Remember when 90s Kid had a super serious moment in the AT4W movie where he talked about how he's a much more serious person deep down.
Remember when Harvey Finevoice discussed death and suicide with Nash?

And it wasn't particularly original when Who did it, either.Oh that was a thing in Linkaras regular adventures, thats where he also pulled that Dr.Who shit.
Silence in the Library was a fun moment, but it also added one of the worst cornerstones of modern Who: "I'm the Doctor, Look Me Up". the second half of Moffat's run is full of the Doctor blustering about with his reputation and clout over doing something clever. Or even something self-sacrificing.Oh that was a thing in Linkaras regular adventures, thats where he also pulled that Dr.Who shit.
And then Chris Chibnall made the shift to full on fanfiction. "I'm the Doctor, Look Me Up" is part of a three-way tie for me at the signs of the end of the franchise for me. The other two being the sheer and shocking tonal whiplash from "Stolen Earth" where Davros is lecturing the Doctor about how he makes killers... only to five minutes later have the Doctor Donna hijacking Davros's hoverchair for some weird Home Alone-esque comedic antics... and too many daleks.
Moffat saw the Doctor as the last angry god delivering judgement with snark. I prefer Santa Claus mixed in with Mister Conductor and Gandalf. God, New Who is such garbage. And Linkara's favorite Doctor is Sylvester McCoy, which I've never heard anyone pick as their favorite. And then Chris Chibnall made the shift to full on fanfiction. Perfect for Linkara.
Did he ever give any grand reasons why besides that being the one he watched while growing up?Moffat saw the Doctor as the last angry god delivering judgement with snark. He's a man of "high fab-sion" & "ice hot"!And Linkara's favorite Doctor is Sylvester McCoy, which I've never heard anyone pick as their favorite.
Call me vanilla, but my picks are Baker, Davidson, followed by Troughton. To me, McCoy is that weird doctor that they dress like a goof and try to portray as slightly sinister. When I felt more menace from Colin Baker dressed like a circus clown, you know you screwed up, lol. He's a man of "high fab-sion" snd "ice hot"!

McCoy and Cartmel were made for each other. "Happiness Patrol," "Greatest Show in the Galaxy", "Remembrance of the Daleks," "Survival."
If McCoy was this good all the time the BBC would be clamouring for more stories with him. Unfortunately, for every good serial, you have "Time of the Rani", "Battlefield", or "Paradise Towers."
I actually like "Paradise Towers" a lot.![]()
And Matt Smith onwards is basically Space God. With more things from ff.net as time went on.McCoy is that weird doctor that they dress like a goof and try to portray as slightly sinister.
Eccleston all day. Hartnell was also pretty dope.Call me vanilla, but my picks are Baker, Davidson, followed by Troughton
Eccelston is criminally underrated, and I wished the producers were able to work out something with him beyond a single season. He was what gave New Who life, but Tennant is what made it popular. And Matt Smith onwards is basically Space God. With more things from ff.net as time went on.

I think Eccleston leaving after one season was for the best since it meant new fans would get used to their favorite Doctor not always being around. Also, it meant he didn't have to be in such great episodes like Love and Monsters or Fear Her. Man, I love Tennant but he had a rough start.Eccelston is criminally underrated, and I wished the producers were able to work out something with him beyond a single season. If 'Dalek' was the only Dalek episode NuWho did, I think it would have been seen as the perfect bookend to the franchise's greatest villain. Eccleston shined in it in ways I cannot even describe. I think that is really my biggest complaint is always going back to the Daleks in NuWho. Regular Daleks, human Daleks, Human Daleks with eyesprots in their forehead, human daleks that look like patrick star. colored daleks.... I think the majority of dalek episodes are NuWho versus OldWho by percentage now.I think Eccleston leaving after one season was for the best since it meant new fans would get used to their favorite Doctor not always being around. Bad Wolf was the first cracks. Tennant was brilliant, but the show def took a hit after Silence in the Library, where the Doctor really upped the "Last Angry God" BS, and using reputation and clout alone to make the bad guy run. I think I went into pure apathy for the show at 'End of Time'.https://youtube.com/watch?v=9bDGH3dKo90
So it was all downhill after this?
Not sure. How many DW episodes has he done, or how much has he talked about it on Twitter? Lot of people were on Doctor Who talk on TGWTG back in the day.EDIT: But back to Linkara. What was his worst Dr Who hottake?
I mean, lets be honest it waa Eccelston himself who decided to leave after the 1st season, then dude is apparently quite a premadonna who always thinks high of himself, despite his movie track record tells a different story.Eccelston is criminally underrated, and I wished the producers were able to work out something with him beyond a single season. I believe Linky did like 5 Dr.Who eps, he def opened his 1st comic review with "I was into Dr.who before it became being cool to like Dr.Who"Not sure. How many DW episodes has he done, or how much has he talked about it on Twitter? Lot of people were on Doctor Who talk on TGWTG back in the day.
So did a lot of people before 2010, and I’m sure Linkara liked a lot of nerdy stuff before The Big Bang Theory and the MCU and the Arrowverse and DC films made those things popular. What does he want, a medal?Sorry for the double post, I believe Linky did like 5 Dr.Who eps, he def opened his 1st comic review with "I was into Dr.who before it became being cool to like Dr.Who"
Either that or a hipster status? So did a lot of people before 2010, and I’m sure Linkara liked a lot of nerdy stuff before The Big Bang Theory and the MCU and the Arrowverse and DC films made those things popular. What does he want, a medal?
Weird hipster status if he’s aiming for that. Hipsters mostly care for rock music and indie films.Either that or a hipster status?
Honestly, hipsters seem to jump on stuff "before it was cool", heck that Scott Pilgrim comic had a hipster status until the movie came out.Weird hipster status if he’s aiming for that. Hipsters mostly care for rock music and indie films.
