Don't Say Gay-style proposal for the UK, in which schools would be required to inform the parents if a child tells a teacher they're a different gender. [

I just find it interesting that, when the host defends outing kids aged 7 and under - what I would consider a centre-right position on the issue (though he kinda motte-and-baileys it, tbf) - Fern responds with a loose paraphrasing of:
Well, 7-year-olds say all kinds of shit. You shouldn't take it too seriously.
Exact words: "I think it depands on what that child says. You said '7 years old'.
7-year-olds will say a lot of things. If the child seems like they're in distress and there are serious issues, yes, you discuss that with the parent as you would literally anything. If a child randomly says one day, 'I'm another gender', I would just probably be like, 'Okay, carry on'."
Interesting that a trans activist chooses to concede that point
now, when it benefits their argument to say so, and not when it's, say, a debate about whether younger kids should socially transition.
