I said queer for a reason. There's two groups under the LGBT umbrella. Homosexuals and queers.
Homos are the sex based sexual attraction group. Queers are everything else. Including straight people who want to look like part of a minority.

Bit of a shitshow kicking off on US tranny Twitter today over the acquittal of Isi Etute. Summary of the case, archive.
The short of it is: Etute hooks up with a woman on Tinder, gets a blowie in her flat in the dark, leaves, tells friends he's confused about the weird blowie in the dark, friends say "are you sure it was a woman?", goes back to see her to find out, in the dark again, shines phone light on her face, turns out it's a dude, dude goes for something, Etute thinks he's going for a gun and smacks him about. Dude had used some random woman's photo on Tinder. Dude dies. Police find knife. Etute is unanimously acquitted after 3 hours' deliberation.
Victim's name is Jerry Smith, and is referred to as Jerry Smith throughout the case. No-one suggests he is anything other than Jerry Smith, some dude using a random woman's photo to trap men on Tinder, who he would blow in the dark in his flat while wearing a hoodie. Eventually Jerry gets found out, goes for a weapon, and gets his face caved in.
Whatever you think of the ultimate outcome, this does not sound to me like an innocent victim.
Don't worry tho, the troons have come to this brave and stunning now-transwoman's rescue!
