My request is that you stay local and don't buy very expensive coins purely for numismatic value.

i.e. if you're spending $100, I'd much rather have 10 common, circulated silver coins from whatever country you're from bought near spot vs. a rare coin bought in great condition online at 10x over spot of its metal content. Any coin gotten at a flea market is also cool. I can buy any coin online, what's fun is finding them irl and through frens.
