I'll try not to be biased, but the matter of fact is that "accurate thumbnail & titles" don't get picked up by YT algorithm. They don't get on the front page cause of this, which means killing potential viewers. You need thumbnails & titles that feel like a clickbait article, or you lose potential subscribers. Also, this is some people's bread & butter, they have to put the work in, despite how cringey it is.
Agreed, but AmaLee has far more talent than AWL. I actually like her English language covers.
I agree on the talent part (I liked her Renegade cover), but she's a BLM shill who supported riots & is also friends with Jamie Marchi (She's on record congratulating her on the deposition).

I do admit that AmaLee is a decent voice actress and my opinion of her was neutral before I heard about her bad takes. I would've been less critical towards her if she wasn't detestable shit like AWL and Jamie.
I knew her from her English language anime covers before anything. Ironically enough, I bought an MP3 of "Period" from Amazon Music to support her a few years ago (for those that don't get the irony, that's OP 4 from Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood soundtrack). Yes, a friend of mine fucked himself in college by smoking tons of pot and doing mushrooms. He triggered a latent mental illness, and he never got better... only worse. I later found out his dad was also a mentally ill pothead building a bomb shelter for when the aliens invade.
I know someone who did that with LSD. They did get (mostly) better after knocking that shit off, but it took a couple years. In the meantime, they fell apart, stopping bathing, were nearly catatonic and did more or less nothing useful. It's just a fact these drugs are really bad for some people. Unfortunately, those are often the very people most attracted to them, who try to use them as a form of self-medication.

I think you're on to something. Have you seen how Seth Rogan's been acting these days? He Tweets like a crackhead, but all in his "DUUUUDE, WEEEEEEED" persona. Recently cussed out a woman whose son just died because she suggested that smoking pot had a negative impact on his mental state. Snoop Dogg of all people had to tell him to chill out. I believe his brain is genuinely fried.
