Would my impression that the Russkies are a little bogged down be right? Still, it's only a few days. Saddam lasted maybe a month of Gulf War 2.

If they're out fighting they risk getting killed or captured which would be highly demoralizing. In every case where women have actually fought on the front it's shown to be more of a burden than a gain because the female soldier will be unable to physically keep up with the male soldiers, and the male soldiers will make reckless decisions to protect the weakest member of the unit.

Yes, so true. The men always have to make up for the physical weakness of the woman plus the sexual dynamics absolutely destroy a units morale.

Didn't stop them in 1999. Of course, that was going to war with an isolated tiny country in the Balkans that didn't have nukes. I'd hope they'd have more sense than to escalate with an actual nuclear power.

But again, we're currently led by imbeciles, so I'm not 100% confident.
