The oil depot at Vasylkiv, southwest of Kiev, has been bombed by Russians.

I guess the Russians don't need that fuel so badly after all.

When both sides look largely the same I'm not surprised. It's bad enough trying to identify vehicles and equipment otherwise in the heat of conflict, this is just too much.

I mentioned this several times before, but remove all the bullshit about Castro, Communism vs Capitalism, etc., and think about just why the Cuba Missile crisis was so destabilizing and dangerous: it had placed the nuclear trip wire right on the front door of one of the major nuclear powers, and in a country that had historical grievances with said nuclear power. What has the US/NATO essentially been trying to do by trying to woo Ukraine into their fold?
