To be honest it was probably a good idea considering the current situation, last thing the world needs is threats of nukes going off, Ukraine is not North Korea. Putin has been eying Ukraine for a very long time, in short I wouldn't trust Ukraine to house nukes.

Nuclear non-proliferation has been the biggest failure of US policy in history. Everyone should have nukes.
