Most likely Russia imo. Home field advantage, plus the fact that they have the support of some parts of the Ukraine population (the rebels), plus the fact that any attempt to invade Russia has historically ended in failure.

Best case for NATO is they keep Ukraine from being overrun and we end up with an East/West Ukraine situation like postwar Germany

People will figure out real quick that Ukraine is a shithole that most of the residents don't see as worth dying for.
