This fucking game, it was much better than expected.
Congratulations to Chelsea, Club World Champion. It was quite contested, but eventually Palmeiras started to get rattled out in the extra time.

On one hand, I'm glad we still produce good young players.
On the other hand, it is kind of depressing to know that every time a young prospect appears, the first thing we all think is "when will he go to Europe and for whom will he play."
Back in the day, the kids that pursued a career in footy wished only to play for their fave team. It could be Corinthians or Flamengo, it could be goddamn XV de Piracicaba or União Bandeirante, but they wanted to be hometown heroes first and foremost, with being called for the NT the unquestionable proof you made it big.
This is the sad present of south American football. Especially the Argentina and Brasil cases, but overall it's a regional problem.
The teams here can't compete with the economic chances that Europe (even Asia nowdays) offer to the players, and I think we are losing what made the south American style of football so special.
I think it's no coincidence (not the only reason though) that the world cup is dominated by Europe nowdays.

Doesnt look good for the official Kiwi football club, Beitar has to play their strange loser round for sure this year....

Was this the turn-around for the new German Man Utd?
Was this the match that unlocked Ralph, Ronaldo, and the Ngubus?

No, probably more of the same shite next time.

Juventus bringing back Allegri was as stupid and nostalgic a decision as United bringing back Ronaldo.

The guy is a massive pussy, playing for a 1-0 win against a mid table club. Plays Alex Sandro at center back when we have capable back ups, plays Zakaria as a box-to-box midfielder when he's a defensive midfielder. Plays Locatelli as a defensive midfielder when he's a box-to-box midfielder. Subs out Dybala before the 60th minute, subs out Vlahovic before the 70th minute. Totally outclassed by Torino's manager, who deserved the win.

Two lucky draws in the past two matches against inferior teams when we're fighting for a top 4 spot. Completely unacceptable for a club the size of Juve, especially after their transfer window. At least now I won't have my hopes up for any kind of Champions League run until Allegri is sacked.

100% man. I have no words for that game, Allegri's changes singlehandedly made it almost impossible to come back from the draw lol.

Vlahovic for Kean in particular, while we need to score.. just what are you thinking?

The retard is thinking about the champions league game on Tuesday, even though we keep dropping points domestically and are at serious risk of falling out of the top 4. He even said he was satisfied with the draw against Atalanta :story: What happened to his mentality? We're in a fight with them for a champions league spot next year, how can you be satisfied with a draw?

His changes were baffling but the starting 11 itself made it almost impossible to win. Sandro at CB when he's out of form at his preferred position and Rugani is fully fit? Playing the whole midfield out of position to accommodate Rabiot? We haven't scored from open play in 2 games now cause he keeps fucking around with his midfield. It shouldn't be that difficult. You bought Zakaria to play CDM so you could unleash Loca on the left and Mckennie/Arthur on the right. All of these players are young, they don't need games off. Rabiot is a squad player now, he's Locatelli's backup. How does the manager not understand something so simple?

On the other hand you brought the European gameplay style closer to South America.

I see more through passes than long crosses these days, which is more enjoyable to watch.

It's just typical Allegri and his cucked "corto muso" philosophy, I wasn't looking forward to it when it was announced he was coming back and I feel vindicated tbh, Allegri games are often just not fun to watch, sometimes even when we win. Lets also not forget that if we didn't lose so many points to total shit clubs like Empoli at the start of the season, with the talent we have on the team now, we could have had a serious chance at winning the Scudetto, meanwhile this faggot is content with draws while we're fighting for a spot in champions league for next season.

And as for everything else you said, I agree. The lack of Rugani in that game was straight up bizarre and the repeated misuse of the midfield is extremely frustrating, Locatelli is tragically under utilised with him always in such a defensive position. It's a shame that Agnelli wasn't prepared to give Pirlo another season imo, I would've liked to see what he could've done with the new talent on the team and some more managerial experience under his belt. Even if he wouldn't exactly be the second coming of Lippi, I doubt it would be as frustrating as this.

We brought Allegri back after 2 seasons off so we can bring Pirlo back after 1 as far as I'm concerned. With all due respect to Ronaldo, Pirlo deserves a shot at managing a club without a diva. In our final game last season, he left Ronaldo on the bench and we scored 4 goals or something. Have we scored 4 goals in any game this season under Allegri? I don't think we have. There have been games where Dybala scores an early goal and we just fall back into a 4-5-1 and wait for an equalizer. Just completely unacceptable and unwatchable.

Jesus Christ imagine being a moany Juventus fan lmao you guys have won the league for 10 years in a row or near enough and now you've had a minor slump it's the end of the world?
Winning the league is hardly an achievement considering Serie A has been dogshit compared to other major european leagues for years. On the contrary, I'm happy that Serie A is getting a bit more competative again, what we're complaining about is that our matches are unnecesarily boring. Who wants to watch their team score a goal and then shakily defend for 60+ minutes every single game?

We just don't want to be the United of Serie A, that's all lol.

That's Milan already, kek.
Except they are kinda-sorta bouncing back thanks to Chinabux.

Anyway, imma bitch about my team now. After seeing my São Paulo's poor performances at the state tournament, I am preparing my mind for an eventual relegation in the national championship. Not a single good player in their ranks, the board of directors sinking the club into unpayable debts (Thanks for nothing, Dani Alves, you fuck) and with the running gag of players that leave the team becoming instantly good and/or champions for their new ones that has been going on since 2010 or so.

Fight at the bottom of the Premiership isn't really a contest of survival anymore, but rather a test to see who is the least inept. Yes you can argue injuries to sides like Brentford and Leeds, Covid nonsense pulled by Spurs and Arsenal delaying games for Burnley etc. But the point difference between 12th to 17th is so minimal, it's laughable.

Well, shout out to Meikayla Moore of New Zealand. I didn't know it was possible to score a hat trick of own goals, but she proved me wrong.
