I would be very very skeptical of claims the woman died. That is too perfect of a story from sources that don't seem to have a reason to know about it.

So it's true then? I want to still wait for more confirmation on the woman with the walker, but if she's really dead, then the Ottawa PD just made a martyr.

She appears to have not been instantly killed by the trampling, at least, but old people are so fragile, so who knows if she died a little bit later EDIT for clarity -- if she died at all. I can't tell from the video if she's actually conscious or not as they carry her away.

Before everyone settles on the "it wasn't a bike it was a walker the trampled woman had" narrative I am pretty sure someone posted an actual bike being thrown earlier in the thread, a few moments after the trampling, and at one of the horses at the back of the line.

The bike throwing itself is still not a big deal, but accuracy important for avoiding ignorance.

Keep in mind that the police also made the false claim that a protestor attempted to injure a horse by throwing a bicycle at it (in February no less, my favourite time of the year for bike rides).
