Yeah, as a woman who used to use leg presses frequently when I had access to one at school, that weight actually made me giggle. Especially as a sight that you film and put online to show how great and impressive you are.

Rhys isn't on heroin. He's on estrogen. Like others have pointed out, he also drinks too much and indulges in ambien. He doesn't even do cardio anymore, it seems.

The fact is that 40 year old people will gain wait unless they are being careful. The dude's a middle-aged eunuch, of course he's gonna be fat.

If he was on estrogen he would have tits. Rhys was on estrogen some time ago, but he long since quit. Now that there is no requirement to take it, so long as his testosterone stays within the guidelines, he can avoid that handicap. Rhys doesn't want to be a woman, he wants to win. He just conflates the two.

That's even worse for his health, imo. He needs to take some sort of hormone replacement. Right now, he's what? Getting testosterone from his adrenal glands, whatever else is coming from the fat.

He is a fat eunuch, that is correct. I'm not sure how important it is for a body to have testosterone, but I'm pretty sure he's better off without estrogen. How much better I couldn't tell you; eventually that gaping wound is going to get infected and kill him no matter what he does.
 
I will guess that our boy has been prone to getting podgy since he was a nipper. Things he has done to himself and whatever he indulges in ,combined with being middle aged, really do indicate that he will carry on plumping up. To stave it off he needs to do more working out and follow a strict diet, or eat and drink as he pleases but do ALOT of working out.
When i say alot i mean alot as it is mind boggling how much effort you have to put in to workouts , to burn big numbers of calories. Tbh; it gets to a point where working out doesn't cover it. You need to treat it like a job with those sorts of hours with alot of time spent in the fat burning zone. It takes effort and being strict and he is crap at both.
He kept the podge at bay, for many years, because he was competing alot, wasn't as lazy, and was more active in general. Since Manchester he has gotten more lazy, less active and hasn't competed. He is also older. I can imagine that with all the stress and strain of being a fool, and losing his job, there has been alot of comfort eating, and i reckon that is still going on.
The workouts he is doing are not getting rid of any real amount of calories and the muscle will just be slowly growing under the growing stores of fat. He is probably doing the same percentages of calorie vs workout that sumo do in a sumo stable. They work out for longer and harder but the calorie intake is fucking massive. His calorie intake is massive to the amount of work he does. Basically; i think he is going to get the sumo look down, over the next year.

Edit to add my opinion

The policy reads as though:

1. Some groups of biased liberals were placated with childish nonsense
2. To ensure continued financial help from the gov BC went above and beyond what the gov had asked of BC regarding its failure to stop the culture of sexism, bullying, and fat shaming towards/of male and female cyclists and staff
3. The policy contradicts and confuses and would not stand up in court
4. 2-3 independant non-biased law firms were clearly not consulted over the wording of the policy
5. BC are trying to make themselves as attractively woke as possible because maybe there is a potential sponsor lined up and they want to be aligned with that potential sponsor

One thing is as sure as shit. If a potential sponsoe knocked on the door with promises of funding that would eclipse any amount BC have seen before, but the word salad policy had to be gone, BC would burn this policy in a heartbeat.
Overnight The Science would provide some common sense dressed up as results of a new study, probably from scandinavia and that would be the end of it. The gov wouldnt mind either because they could reduce funding while still retaining excellent chances of medals.
It is all about glory, pot hunting and money. Rhys is an old Tran. He went to Thailand a long time ago, in the timeline of srs butchery. He probably got zero depth surgery, and he reported that he was botched anyway. This used to be the only kind of surgery they really did.

zero sex hormones will result in a greater loss of bone density and greater weight gain

I got the impression he got "depth" (ugh) but it was botched. I remember him also coping that you don't need to dilate if you're not going to use it... so I think his first botch job he at least got depth but didn't work out so now he's telling himself that he didn't want it anyway.
