There's a bunch of chatter about where people are meeting up in Ontario, also they were looking for a mechanic as one of the supporters is stuck with a flat. I assume it was a passenger vehicle, or they would've specified otherwise.
 
The genius of the honking is that it's the best method to deal with the libshit pod/mansion dwellers that have zero issues with having everyone locked to their houses since they are rich/anti-social to take it.
Guess what fuckers, the pod won't save you from the honks.

You need a rig like this to tow a tractor trailer, or a large piece of farm equipment, they're basically cranes.

It's a highly specialized truck and your average wrecker service isn't going to have one unless they routinely deal in big diesels.

From what I understand none of the local operators are willing to help the police with this.

Ah alright. So just the same equipment they've been needing. There was one company willing to do it for the Alberta last update I heard. Nothing about Ottowa

They said due to COVID restrictions they don't have the staff to fulfill government contracts right now.

My late father in law was a diesel mechanic and fixed tractors all the time. The normal sized ones the farmers move around themselves on trailers generally. Bigger ones ( combines etc) take more logistics but they are never towed.

Even if there was a company in Ottawa willing to do it, there aren't nearly enough trucks to do it. Ottawa is surrounded by country towns and even then you will only see one on rare occasion. Most farm equipment and large vehicles are transported on large flatbeds pulled by other large trucks. And good luck maneuvering a whole bunch of 35-42 foot trailers in downtown Ottawa.

Also, I just realised who CannedHam likely is. He is HamSandwich77, the mod of https://omegacanada.win/ and drove off/banned pretty much everyone who disagreed with him. His site has collapsed and he gets 1/10th of the traffic he used to "to own the Nazis". He's so desperate for attention he had to come here to insult people because the site he runs is a ghost town.

Okay so you drive in with the rare, highly-specialized equipment, spend a half hour hooking up and drag it... where exactly? And then turn around and go back. That's a solid hour minimum, per vehicle.
