After seeing the incredibly limited scope of the Floyd mourner riots, the way the recent unrest in South Africa unfolded, and the failure of most of the developed world to collectively hold onto Afghanistan despite half the population being born under their globohomo regime by the time it came crashing down ..... this has just further reinforced my beliefs that if most western nations (and especially North America) ever descends into large scale violence the modern left will fare about as well as they did in Indonesia circa 65-66.

This is even more informative because its the first time I've seen how they react to their own impotence in the face of large numbers of non-violent opposition, the mere potential for violence should they push back to hard has left them paralyzed and dumbfounded.

The response has boiled down to:

1: Claiming the police could easily clear all of this up if they weren't secretly racist, usually followed by the insistence that they all be fired/defunded afterwards.
2: Claiming that the military likewise could just snap their fingers and make it all go away somehow even though their probably even worse equipped than the police to deal with this.
3: Repeating the same "Six Gorillion Truckers" shit from a week ago to own the chuds, in stark contrast to the people above pleading for the feds to come goose stepping in to liberate them from the "terrorists" and "occupiers"
4: More recently celebrating O'toole being shitcanned, not stopping for two seconds to consider this is how a Donald Trump or Doug Ford gets into power.

It's fucking pathetic.

I made a post about this a while back. I'm not sure about Ottawa Antifa, but Montreal has a pretty big Antifa presence, and Montreal is quite nearby (~2hr drive). A few years ago, they would load up and travel places like Quebec City (slightly farther away) to skirmish with far-right groups like La Meute or Atalante. It would be very easy for them to travel to Ottawa and stir up shit. I figure it's one of three possibilities (in no particular order):
  1. They fell for the media BS about how there were only 10 trucks coming and it was a big nothingburger; in this case they should be planning something, but they might be late and we're waiting for the other shoe to drop
  2. They are scared and will not show up
  3. They have been told to stand down by TPTB
I guess, generously, there's maybe a bonus option of them staying out of it because they think their enemy is making a mistake Sun Tzu blah blah.

It seems like the rural leaders wanted to parlay but were stopped by their cucklord. They left to sort things out among themselves with vague promises of "soon".
