Finally have time to go through the Flamenco pillstream, and holy fuck May is absolutely un-fucking-bearable. Alright I'e been avoiding the politics but this is just bullshit. Yes he enriched his inner circle. He did jack shit fuckall money-wise for the "movement" that made him a billionaire. Say what you will about Leftists but at least their billionaires fund grassroots efforts to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars each year. Rush just told the grassroots to keep tuning in while he buys another jet. Charity? Bullshit, that was a tax scam. All the Chinese-made merch he sold to his audience with a portion going to charity? EIB got the million$ tax-writeoffs for the charitable donations not the people who bought the Chinese shit. He killed his own sektor, refusing to groom a replacement such that when he died they tried to put his wife on as host after a month of post-death reruns and when she failed they put his reruns back on for several more months to squeeze every lost dollar from the syndication deals. There was no bigger cheerleader for deep-state establishment, false wars and re-electing RINO's for 30 years before Trump came along and he found himself at risk of being in Trump's crosshairs and ending the gravy-train.

The only person in all of this shit that could come close to either of those legends is Jim. He has the voice, the cadence and the timing.

Yeah Art Bell was the shit. He was the first broadcaster to embrace the internet, taking questions from his IRC channel when barely anybody even had dial-up.

Did you ever listen around 1993/94ish when his IRC channel #ArtBell was hijacked for a couple weeks? That may or may not have been me. Held it until my dial-up finally dropped from a call-waiting blip. This was right after his son was kidnapped IIRC and I felt bad when he finally told that story.

I started in 1997, but I’ve gone back through archives on various sites and listened to a lot of 1993/94 shows. I’m sure I’ve come across that but I do remember the story of his son being kidnapped. Then wasn’t he raped in 1998 by a teacher? His poor (second) born son went through hell.
