I'm convinced that 90% of Touhou fans are Trannies and/or Pedos. I know next to nothing about the games other than they're bullet hells with little girls, and the fact that it's only little girls really doesn't help their case.

I’d personally never spend $300 on a small anime plush, but a one-time $300 purchase is hardly only attainable to the rich.

Like, unless you have a literal minimum wage job, you SHOULD have enough money to have at least a hundred buck’s of “for fun” money budgeted out each month for going out with friends, going out to eat, buying new clothes, whatever. If you REALLY wanted that fucking anime plush and you’re not a cashier or a burger flipper, it’s not hard to cut back on your other luxuries for a while and save up $300 for it.

Yeah, pretty much, though the other 10% are fans of the music or the actual games themselves, both of which are pretty hit-or-miss.

Touhou Project is one Japanese man’s colossal autism project that dates back to the 90s, and he’s always been very open to fan projects, so its been a thing on the Japanese & weeb end of the internet forever. The proliferation of Team Fortress in so many memes are kind of a western analog to the proliferation of Touhou in Japanese memes.

and I guess trannies and pedos latching onto Touhou here in Clown World was inevitable because that kinda thing is like perfect bait for them. like, Touhou itself isn’t supposed to be dirty, but neither was My Little Pony, and you couldn’t throw a rock at an MLP convention without hitting at least two creepy dudes wearing shirts that outright say “I masturbate to cartoon horses”

This jumbled my memory actually, i don't know a thing about touhou but i knew i had seen that plush recently. Sure enough, is from a tranny anime reviewer who uses it as a stand in.

A lot of the old guard are oldskool internet shitposters who like to use the little girls ironically in memes and stuff (like saying the gamer word). You’d be right about the pedo part, but I don’t think there are (or at least were) a lot of trannies in that scene. They’re just too edgy to me to be part of that SJW-leaning demographic. I could be wrong though and I’m sure a lot of younger fans are troonsitive.

Just buy the 15$ chinese clones. For some context Touhou is basically a genre in and of it self due to the fact that it is an unprotected trademark and is old enough to be massively popular among old school weebs. Of course being weeby troons and pedos love it too. It is kinda hard to understand in the west because there really hasn't been a massive franchise with the same level of freedom with the copyright (Cerebus maybe? It is an unprotected trademark but also died out before the internet really took off)

My probably-now-ex boyfriend of 5 years is really into Touhou and has ghosted me for the past 3 months since I started terfposting on twitter so there’s probably some truth to it tbh.

Look back at that plush and think about 300 dollars and the worth of 300 dollars and what you could buy with 300 dollars and rethink your post.

Reading comprehension! Nowhere do I argue that the plush is worth $300. I literally fucking say that I think it isn’t. My point is just that if you really wanted it (this alone already presumes that you’re willing to pay $300 for it) it’s not exactly an unattainable purchase.

Most of them aren't trooned out. they just started to have other things and use imageboards on a more serious manner, that's the reason they don't do as many shitposts as before, the trannies normally were mocked on those cultures and people like linetrap where seen as degenerates in contrast to the more level grounded traps (which were just men in dresses who were gay or extremely feminine dudes who put on dresses for the lulz). Linetrap with other two trannies are the only tranny traps (hormones and mutilation) and where only praised by porn addicted tards, at most they got some attention for being annoying fucks, but most people didn't liked their presence and spamming them would normally get everyone angry.

That's a troon? Does xer use a voice changer or something? I've watched a few of xer's videos and assumed xer was a true and honest wammen because the voice sounded convincing enough to not raise alarm bells.
