50,000 trucks, as in a mix of semi-trucks and personal trucks, does not equal hundreds of thousands. And even then, that was a number the media spewed out. The convoy confirmed thousands of trucks would be going and from what has been seen of the overhead shots, they're on the ball.

Also, Canada doesn't have Republicans. Conservatives are split between the CPC and the growing PPC. If you're gonna screech like a bitch, at least get your info right.
 
It really doesn't matter how many gorrilions of trucks join. If one hillbilly in a hatchback can shut down a border or capital city for weeks then it's still a successful protest

Stop whining. Civil protests and disobedience includes the possibility of opposition. The ladies are super polite and obviously feel differently than the truckers. The Karen on the left was a bit of a uptight bitch but the one in the middle was the quintessential Canadian imo.

It's just a pity that the mass media gives the opposition and establishment figures like the mayor of Ottawa far more space to voice their opinions than the protestors.

Opposition to what? You need two sides to have an opposition. There is only one approved narrative. Have you seen any interviews with supporters that are actually on the street in Ottawa from the CBC? Any man on the street interviews like the ones in this video? No? Just a couple pussyhatted "resisters"?

Point is they didn't fight for anything and never had to sacrifice a damn thing for their pretend convictions. They jumped on a bandwagon like most women tend to do, and are now wheeling out the ol' "I fought for women's rights!!" bollocks to try and undermine a protest that happens to inconvenience their petty little insulated existence for a change. Diddums.

The government could make this stop in an instant by simply dropping the draconian mandates that don't even work. Be interesting to see who blinks first. These truckers mean business and ain't going no where, no matter how many scatty old women lament and complain to an equally vapid journalist.

Well, they are in the establishment majority now and so they have a comfortable, easy position. Their misinformed or malicious government is turning increasingly authoritarian in its measures against a small minority which it is trying to isolate and deprive of essential human rights and they are blinded by their partly flawed search for security and an end to the pandemic so as to stand with this government. The corporate and government media is aligned with them.

It doesn't take away from their past merits nor does it mean that because they are middle class urbanites of a certain age, they shouldn't interact with the protests. In fact, their interaction is beneficial and the only way to get the vast majority that is vaccinated to support the fundamental rights of the minority.


You are the nigger now. This is your civil rights march. Be nice. Try to get the white urbanite liberal "Karens" on your side :)
