Going full jackboot? Aus has been that way for fucking years now. EWven pre coof. This is a country which has laws like making it mandatory for everyoneto wear crash helmets while doing anything on wheels like riding a pushbike.

Australia has been truly and thoroughly cucked for years, the scamdemic has just been a good excuse for the Government to really let rip.

Hey I gotta give rebel news credit where credit is due. But hey to @Hollywood Hulk Hogan it's just a few trucks and rednecks in pickup trucks. Those are dumb unwashed redneck's.

Uhhhh but do they do tech support at a hospital? He's basically a doctor, bro. You should listen to him.

Hospital techs are the epitome of midwits the people who work in the hospital tech/paperwork field tend to have bare minimum jr college experience, 3 kids and are usually obese.

Sounds like you're just an uneducated Trump fetishist who takes their orders from Russia.

They're so used to being the authoritarians due to how pussified our cultures men have been turned that any kind of dedicated resistance at all makes them lose their minds. Observe retards like @Hollywood Hulk Hogan lose their shit in other threads over this because they're so used to telling themselves that they're moral and right and there is absolutely no room for debate because only one world view is valid.
lol calm down, although you guys said there'd be hundreds of thousands of semi trucks and that isn't hundreds of thousands, that isn't all that many. It's adorable how you guys are so assblasted you're going through the covidiot thread to spazticly flail around in though. Anyway, stop tagging me because I ain't got the time to deal with Republican retards today.

I was listening to CBC this morning while stuck in traffic and it was completely retarded.

Before the 7:30 news, they had the former Ottawa police chief on to talk about the police response. The host insinuated the police force was racist for breaking up the 2020 BLM protests but not the Freedom Convoy.

Regardless of "optics", this is a dumb take because anyone with a brain can see that the BLM protests did not have fucking 18 wheelers blocking roads, they were just people. Besides that, the specific incident the host was referring to (where 12 people were arrested and charged) was this one.

Police suggested a ton of locations for them to relocate, but they refused, so police had to remove them.

This article states they were sitting at the intersection of Nicholas St and Laurier Ave, which is right next to the National Defense Head Quarters, Rideau Centre (shopping mall) and a campus of Ottawa U, I believe.

Moving on, the former police chief stated there were only about 250 people left. Does anyone have any updated numbers on this? I (obviously) can't make it downtown today so I can't see for myself, but I highly doubt people came all the way from BC just to leave within a few days.

After the 7:30 news (where they reiterated that there were only 250 people left), the host talks to a Stunning and Brave woman from downtown Ottawa who stood in a truck's path.

The woman sounds daft and distracted, and even loses her train of thought at one point. She states she screamed "unladylike" things at the trucker, whose wife in the passenger seat rolled down her window to laugh at her. Based and tradpilled. If anyone can draw this in the style of the cat poop incident, I would be eternally grateful.
She describes the incident as being "a moment of resistance", although she and her neighbors moved out of the truck's path eventually, so they accomplished absolutely nothing except looking stupid.

After this clusterfuck, there's an interview with a Gatineau frenchie who celebrated his birthday by skating on the Rideau Canal. Very informative news as always, thanks CBC.

I'm fully expecting this to slowly turn into a mass of 100's of 1000's of people saying

I'm not your friend, buddy
I'm not your buddy, pal
I'm not your pal, guy
I'm not your guy, friend
I'm not your friend, pal
I'm not your pal, buddy

There's definitely more than 250. People are reporting the convoy still stretches out of ottowa. And if the RCMP are saying there's 10,000 protestors at the spontaneous border blockade then I'm smashing X to doubt.

There's something really funny about people on twitter, reddit, and even Kiwi Farms trying to insist the trucker protest is a "couple of rednecks in shitty pickup trucks" when there's literally overhead views of thousands of trucks and people lined up in the streets. Christ, even the media has admitted the size. Delusion is such a weird thing.

Also, I highly recommend watching Viva Frei's coverage of it. Gives a good perspective of some of the protesters.
Yeah there are way more Nazis in Canada then i thought.

If they didn't hold a boot to their own necks they'd have no other excuse to be mediocre. Some people wanting to remove said boot and do things themselves undermines the worldview they could have been anything other than bugmen if it weren't for that damn boot.
I really do think this is part of it. Some people are legitimately scared, because despite claiming to love science they know nothing about it and the CBC has been telling them they're all gonna die if they go outside for the past 2 years, but there are a ton of people who are very comfortable living like this. They don't have to interact with people, they get to work from home, they get all their food delivered, their kids are home safe... I do a lot of these things, and they're right; it is convenient, but I need to get back to my real life.

I'm not kidding when I say that some of these people would do this for the rest of their lives if they thought it would keep them "safe"...I don't know what the tipping point is in most people's minds between wasted time and public safety, but I passed mine quite some time ago.

35 million people x 2 years wasted is a lot of years; easily more than COVID would have ever killed even if we'd done nothing.

Hearing a convoy of RCMP are heading south from Lethbridge this morning.

Also we have a rumour that Highway 1 between Banff and Canmore is being blocked by freedom loving Canadians. Unconfirmed.

Edit: also hearing the RCMP approached Calgary police for assistance. Source describes the response as “decidedly unenthused”

BEHOLD! The prototypical Karen's. They were looking for a manager to complain to, but couldn't find one. So they stopped the first truck they saw to bitch at it. They even bring up their 2015 pussy-hat credentials.

"We fight for women's rights"

My sides. Yes these rich white women in one of the whitest countries in the entire world, in one of the whitest, richest cities in that country, are fighting for women's rights. Sure Jan. Also fuck the fabric-masker on the right, doesn't she realize we're in a pandemic?
