Stop being a thin-skinned brat and put down the fork, Kelly. Or don't. It's your liver, you get to live with it.

Kelly’s been slightly more honest and less euphemistic about her health issues on Twitter than she has on Instagram. She’s admitted that her size is, on its own, preventing her from living life in the way she wants to:

But of course the delusion is still there, e.g. she takes the fact that she gets wiped out from a six minute walk test to show that she has some extremely rare autoimmune disease rather than just a consequence of weighing as much as an adolescent elephant:

Bonus amusing typo: I think Kelly here meant to write ‘sam’, i.e. ‘stay at home mom’, but instead she accidentally self-identified as a ham. Tee hee!

She’s not being honest about her size limiting her in the way you think. She’s saying it’s limiting because society is fatphobic and won’t accommodate her. It’s everyone else’s fault of course.

Also I am loving that she is dumping her conversations with her doctor out for everyone to see. I’ve never seen someone so divorced from reality. Are we sure she’s not just in some sort of slow burn psychotic break? Also if she wants to make statements like the science isn’t decided yet on what causes NASH the onus is on her to cite actual scientific articles. She is even worse than the conspiracy theorists who schizopost about 5G and viruses not being real. HAES is basically just a pseudoscience cult that she got sucked into and she’s trying to argue against science with her weird religious texts.

Between Dr. Fish giving her a dose of reality and the historical clothing group not liking her I genuinely think she may be heading towards some type of meltdown. Whether or not we’ll see it is the question, but she seems close to a breaking point.

I thought her parents are evil boomers that abused her? Now all of a sudden she wants to visit them.

Kells doc should just sue her. She wouldn't even be able to conprehend the file or do the work to do anything against it. The meltdown though would be epic.

She's shopping for an "MECFS" or "POTS" diagnosis. I think the "actual scientific articles" ship has long since sailed.

I am HERE FOR Kelly's munchie arc, though!

Pretty sure we're already in the munchie arc given that she brings up her "long covid symptoms" - read: she's just a fat bitch - every time she can shove it in.

Oh. She's searching for a POTS or MECFS diagnosis. Anything to avoid her FAT diagnosis. Jeebus woman.

You are insulin dependent because you won't control your type 2 diabetes with diet. You have fatty liver disease because FAT. But that isn't enough disease for you.

POTS - postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. She had that fainting, shaky, anxiety attack recently. She's probably hoping this is the cause. Who am I kidding. She wants both of these diagnoses. POTS would be good because it can develop after a viral illness - like 'rona - that she totally had, y'all.

(above pic POTS/longhauler)
It will be good for lots of attention and munchie points.

POTS

Then there's MECFS. That's your Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, that has been renamed Myalgic encephalomyelitis. And is now forever linked to long covid. Kelly, is in pig heaven at the thought of this.

CFS/LongCovid Mayo MECFS

Edit to add link to the 6 minute walk test: 6 minute walk test

Here is a polite reminder from a year ago, given she is still banging on about having long covid. Her doctor at the time told her she didn't have covid at all and wouldn't even test her.

Everytime I 've thought I had covid...

Maybe she had covid multiple times or maybe she is just fat. Whose to say?

LOL at Kelly typing up these responses that she never has the guts to send. But, if she did actually send it, boy is her doctor going to be pissed when she gets back. Kelly is making it harder for the doctor who enables her bullshit. This new doctor might even call out her doctor about her -- let's be brutally honest here -- medical malpractice of condemning fatties like Kelly to death because she won't provide the truth about a fatty's condition and lifestyle changes that could slow or even reverse some conditions. Wouldn't it be funny if this resulted in her doctor having to find a new practice? Maybe her doctor has been flying under the radar and quietly letting fatties do their thing and the other doctors didn't know. I will LMAO if that happens.

Her skin is the only thing thin about Kelly.

According to the CDC:

A positive antibody test result can help identify someone who has had COVID-19 in the past or has been vaccinated against COVID-19

So, unless you take one of those tests that can distinguish between antibodies from an actual infection vs. those generated by the vaccine, you can't really say you've had covid from one of these test. Would be surprised if Kelly even knows what kind of test she took.

I believe she took an antibody test before she was vaccinated. My apologies for spreading misinformation if that is not the case, though. My memory is that she claims her family got mild cold-like symptoms, of which she herself did not experience any, and then later she and Jerry paid for an antibody test to confirm if what the family had was covid.

I know it boggles all our minds that she would escape covid so unscathed, but tons and tons of people were completely asymptomatic, and it sounds like maybe her family got a very mild strain. We only hear about the really bad variants on the news; there's lots of variants and many of them are nothing to worry about.

So I believe her family had covid and that MAYBE she got the sniffles from it, though at the time she claimed she didn't have any symptoms IIRC. So like everyone else, I'm extremely skeptical about her having long covid. She's been complaining about all these symptoms from before her family's brush with covid. These claims of "the times I thought I had covid" were all in hindsight. I don't believe she ever said, in real time, "I have a cold right now that I believe is covid." But later she conveniently decided she had long covid.

Lady is nuts. Fucking treat your diabetes and you'll feel better. Kelly.

If she has antibodies, doesn’t that mean she had it at some point?
Sure if you believe Kelly which i don't when it comes to anything health related she bitches about that could just as easily be explained by fat. She must distract from the fat at all times.

It’s hard to believe Kelly’s regular PCP tells her her conditions aren’t related to her weight, it’s more likely she just doesn’t bring it up.

On their first meeting the doctor probably mentioned weight (walking on eggshells style like “I have to tell you this”) and included in her notes that she advised the patient and patient asked her not to bring it up again, patient declined to engage, something to that effect.

Fat people know they’re fat so most PCPs don’t make a huge deal if it at every visit. There are doctors who’d rather have the patient feel comfortable enough to come in and keep them in compliance with their meds vs showing up at the ED with a massive stroke or their foot rotted off. It’s not exactly harm reduction, but sort of.

It’s extremely unlikely a doctor will call out another doctor, especially one in their group. Fish is probably just grateful she’s the other doctor’s problem most of the time. People like Kelly are lolcows to their healthcare professionals too. Every practice has a couple, every hospital has a handful of frequent flier lolcows.

Kelly is insane, but her disconnect between her outward appearance and her internal mechanisms always boggles the mind most for me.

The Fish MD isn't telling her to lose weight to treat NAFLD because she looks like a fat sack of shit, it's because her innards are literally a fat sack of shit, and it's killing her liver.

Kelly, you aren't being "denied care" because of "how you look", you are being given actual medical advice and treatment because of how you are - how can you not make that connection?

She's very lucky to have not been entirely written off by the entire practice at this point.

"My world has gotten smaller over time with my size & mobility...."

So—maybe it's time to do the things you need to do in order to reduce your size and expand your mobility? That's what a sane person would do (though whether a sane person would ever allow themselves to get in your position in the first place is doubtful).

Her world has become smaller as the direct result of her own decisions. She has chosen food and inactivity over her ability to fully engage with the world. She has nobody to blame but herself for her sickness and loss of mobility, but she still can't admit that. It's something that's just happened to her.

..."I don't know what the future holds...."

You realize you do have a choice about that, Kells? That the future need not just happen to you, in increasingly terrible ways? That it could be better, if you choose to make it so?

"...I feel more tolerant of risk in favor of doing these memorable things that might be moments to hold onto when the world is even smaller."

Trust me, Kelly; when you are truly disabled and immobile and obviously dying from the consequences of your own choices, you're not going to lie there and get comfort from thinking, "Well, at least we took that trip to the beach house." Instead, you're going to going to think, "Why did I let myself get to this point? Why didn't I try to turn things around while I still could? What have I done to myself?" Because while you won't admit it to anyone else, you will think those things, and you'll be angry at yourself. You'll also be angry and terrified at the loss of control that comes with being truly disabled. And you will take that anger and need for control out on health care staff and your family, rather than make peace with it, and admit to anybody that you've fucked up due to your own shitty, selfish decisions. The last memories your family will have of you will be terrible, and once you're dead they won't want to talk about you at all so they don't have to remember any of it, or hurt each other by bringing up those memories. Even if they're ashamed to admit it, they'll be relieved that you're gone.

I've watched a couple of Narcissists die shitty, protracted deaths, up close and personal, and swapped war stories with others who have experienced the same. I expect Kelly to go the exact same way, and the only part of that I feel bad about is that her kids will have to witness it.

But of course the delusion is still there, e.g. she takes the fact that she gets wiped out from a six minute walk test to show that she has some extremely rare autoimmune disease rather than just a consequence of weighing as much as an adolescent elephant:

LOL. I can't wait for the chimpout when she gets her Idle Fatty Syndrome dx. When six minutes is the longest time you've spent at a steady walk in two full years, damned right you're going to be short of breath and your heart's going to pound.

Bonus amusing typo: I think Kelly here meant to write ‘sam’, i.e. ‘stay at home mom’, but instead she accidentally self-identified as a ham. Tee hee!

I keep seeing reports from all over the place about the dire effects lockdowns, isolation, and forced masking have had, and are continuing to have, on kids' emotional and developmental well-being. I see them from teachers, from parents, from pediatricians, and speech pathologists, and they all point to a mental health catastrophe that's going to keep unfolding for years, if not decades, to come.

So I have no doubt Kelly's kids are doing badly; they weren't doing all that well even before Covid. But her demands that teachers do all the "supporting them" are insane. She is home all fucking day; she is at least as intelligent as any elementary school teacher; and should be fully invested in seeing her kids succeed. Why not learn to provide the kind of educational support you claim they need, Kelly?

But that would take time away from taking ugly selfies and finding shit to be offended by on social media. So if she lives long enough to see the girls grow up to be academic washouts and emotional wrecks, with no social skills, she'll just put all the blame on (by then) long-ago Covid-era restrictions.

If she has antibodies, doesn’t that mean she had it at some point?
It's possible that she was exposed, and her poor, long-suffering body somehow mounted a robust enough immune response that she remained asymptomatic.

It's clear at this point that it is very difficult to predict the effects of COVID infection among younger patients, and just because it seems like she should have had all of the most severe symptoms doesn't mean that she couldn't conceivably have been infected without ever knowing. The human body is amazingly resilient.

There are young, healthy people who have suffered catastrophic, fatal pulmonary manifestations of COVID, but there are also fat, sedentary fucks with a blood type of McDonald's who might have felt a little run down for a day or two but never even had a cough. This is your reminder that Tamtam Slaton survived COVID. The respiratory disease that will kill her is unrelated.
