It's like the 40s were a different time, when racism was more widespread....

And Japan had fucking attacked us and killed over 2,000 Americans, so we were kind of pissed off about the whole thing.

I mean, Japanese Americans got fucked over really badly because of that racism, and it being in the past doesn't make that racism right or excuse it, but the way they responded you'd think that poster had been more recent.

That didn't mean shit to tumblr when they drove a japanese trans woman off the website.

For telling them they're basically america -centric idiots over chihiro fujisaki's gender who know nothing about Japan and gender.

I remember that; it was fandomsandfeminism and some post about anime and (white) feminism.

"-Dont tag ANY of my art as me/kin"
oppression

To be fair, I wouldn't want my art associated with tumblr crazies either.

I've never understood this idea of shipping incest or pedophilia as a coping mechanism for being molested or whatever. In what possible way could that help? I think they're just making shit up so they have an excuse to flick the bean to yaoi of Rick and Morty and other perverted shit.

Yaoi fangirls aren't known for their logic; porn can't be just porn anymore. It's "coping" or "activism".

Nah I'm vaguely familiar with this person and they draw their kins all the time so characters from Rick and Morty are like, totally me and if you tag things I draw as "kin" I'll disassociate for real

On another interesting note, that same blog actually had made a list of artists who drew Rick/Morty porn and so many people got pissed and replied with I'M AN ABUSE SURVIVOR they ended up taking the list down.

Found these on my dash...

We don't negotiate with terrorists.
This poor naive fuck was actually trying, and making a sincere attempt to learn and understand the terminology and factors at play, and now he's a shitlord for asking questions.
Had he been content to live in ignorance, not given a fuck, and said nothing, he wouldn't have been attacked.
Honestly, this is beautiful. Tumblr slacktivism in a nutshell. It actively rewards the people who don't give a shit about the issue, and reinforces the idea that when it comes to working towards equal rights for everyone regardless of identity, you're probably better off not bothering.
Do any of these people even understand the meaning of 'anxiety'? Anger I get, you heard something you don't like and it pisses you off, fair enough. Anxiety though? Seriously? You went around all day wringing your hands and worrying that the shitlord was going to jump out from behind a wall and point at you and yell, "Ha, I can't be bothered to understand your massively complex way of defining gender!"

People take the Money Cat posts seriously?

I thought everybody was blogging them ironically or just because of cute cats with money.

Well, at least for us.

I'm pretty sure this person thinks that every man is the Incredible Hulk, just seconds away from snapping and killing an entire city.

Well, your username has to do with cat Pokemon, so...

Never underestimate the stupidity and naivety of Tumblr. These are the people who thought they could get infinite chocolate by cutting it a certain way.

They really don't get that you can hate a shitload of people and still have a sense of humor. (See: George Carlin.) They've just replaced their sense of humor with a superiority complex, bitterness, and a strange sort of secular Puritanism. Incidentally, this is why I think lolcows are so funny despite their sense of humor generally being nonexistent, even if they think they have one. Inept, stupid, lazy, crazy, and just plain fun to watch as they crash and burn.

As for that retard going on about men, that's a hell of a lot of projection on their part. Because SJWs and the like generally care more about their image and about appearing good than about genuinely doing good in the world and doing good regardless of how it will affect their image/social standing. It's actually really funny.

Yeah, they don't understand physics. And they are open to a lot of bullshit. Sort of like the retard 9/11 conspiratards also often being New World Order/Illuminati conspiratards and often even more kinds of conspiratard on top of that. Only Tumblr has its own brand of stupid. I blame part of it being because some of the kids are just dumb teenagers who got their first social media accounts. I blame part of it on most of the adults on there being reactionary, immature, gullible, and the Dunning-Kruger effect being in play.

On tumblr there are a lot of posts which highly idealize female friendships and claim that mainstream media devalues them.
Does media actually do this, from my experience it depicts female friendships as being a lot more important than male friendships but there may just be an anti platonic bias that I am not aware of

There's definitely less media about female friendships out there, just because there's a less media about big groups of girls in general, but I don't think I've ever really seen it "devaluated" either. Its especially apparent with stuff aimed at younger audiences, like those shows based off of doll lines, like Barbie and Strawberry Shortcake. Media like that is completely built on girls being "BFFs 4 lyf."
