The spokesman for the Freedom Convoy was just on Gad Saad's channel. He said no one has met with him or the movement leadership, so wherever the media or a politician says they did, they didn't. Or as this sentence says, they met with 'members of the convoy' which could be anyone.

I gave him a very brief explanation saying that they started a convoy a week or two ago to head to Ottawa and protest the vaccine mandates and that they arrived some time on Friday to gridlock the city. That's literally all I told him. And of course he immediately has an opinion and starts maligning them and saying that what they are doing is a joke. :roll:

I mean people who fancy themselves as politicos yet ignore the most fundamental events going on the west puzzle me. They often make these I'm a politico claims because more often then not they just repeat whatever Bob at the post writes on politico as face and since he is a "centrist" ie neo liberal moron. He trusts his judgement and ignores everything else.

They're mindless fucking retards. And I feel sorry for them because I'm a very nice person and any time I start actually hurting people I pull back and am very forgiving and gentle to my enemies. But they don't feel any remorse for the effects of cancel culture and censorship on the people living around them. They unironically enjoy knowing that they're causing people like me suffering and they don't experience that sense of remorse/forgiveness and extending humanity to those they disagree with. They're completely inundated in their hateful echo chamber and there's no room for any kind of gentleness/humanity in their discourse.

For a long time I believed there was room for peaceful solutions and discourse. I'm not saying there isn't, but that sense of forgiving and gentleness that I had is much more prone to going away these days. Patience has its limits and sooner or later you just need to lock the bitch in the cage so she stops biting you.

There's no quicker way to kill your soul off than attempting to rationalize and understand that which lacks any. These are not people anymore; for many, there lingers a question as to whether or not they ever were to begin with.

The very best of them are gleefully ignorant of the world except through the filter of a screen and the soothing, reassuring voice of a newscaster telling them what to think.

The very worst are so far removed from any definition of humanity, so excited by the chance to hurt others, so enraptured by the blank check they've been given to throw anyone and everyone into a meat grinder, so eager to fill that vacuous, gaping hole inside of each of them that 'Demon' would be a compliment.

You're honestly better off saving your mercy, love, and respect for the actual human beings left around you. God knows they need it.

Well the average liberal is motivated solely on a harm and reciprocity basis. This is where libertarians will autistically claim that banning Loli porn is fascist because in their mindset they value harm and fairness above all else. Most self proclaimed liberals tend to be progressive and most progressives tend to have strong in group/outgroup preference, as well as harm and reciprocity. So they will unironically say listing I get that people have a right to speak but Nazis are a bigger problem so don't dissent.

In the end post modern philosophy is taking the propaganda tricks of the early 20th century and inversing them onto the majority of the nation instead.

I just had to run a few errands in the (600 person?) village near me. When I was last there on Thursday everyone was masked up. Today: not one employee had a mask. Everyone beaming at each other even though we didn’t really talk about the news. My ❤️ just swelled from happiness. Jason Kenney best get right with this issue and quickly.

I disagree these people are angry and resentful people. Alot of them feel that way because they're failures or X called them a bad name so I need to punish them.

But they're very much human these are the puritans demanding we burn the witch's at the stake, These are the people who in 1942 asked if you were hiding any Jews, these are the people who gleefully participated in killing the Tsars and his children. These people were the ones happily taking the baker to the guillotine Because he once said he missed the old monarchy.

People who are resentful are usually the ones glad to pull the trigger when it comes to war crimes.

These are the exact same people who, in history class, claimed they didn't understand how tyranny came into power.

They're also the ones that will tell you all about how they would stand up against fascism, even risk their lives, and would never be one of the people supporting a monstrous system.

That's why they love shit like BLM, because they feel like their fighting against the government, and why they hate anything that protests what they think of as 'their' power.

They KNOW you hate them (whether you do or not, they know it, so it's a fact) so they have to get you before you commit wrongthink, even if it means goose stepping down the road.

I was looking into the Coutts situation and it has the potential to pop off more than Ottawa

So for others new to the thread, at the Alberta/Montana border crossing a blockade sprung up on the 29th. It turned into a legit blockade as it seems like people from both sides have had food/water/supply issues for the past 3 days. They only just negotiated with the RCMP (feds), whereupon the protesters said "fuck you, we're staying" but they agreed to open 1 lane (US pajeet truckers rejoice).
