THE HONKENING by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late
With long arrears to make good,
When the honkers began to honk.

They were not easily moved,
They were icy willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the honkers began to honk.

Their voices were even and low,
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show,
When the honkers began to honk.

It was not preached to the crowd,
It was not taught by the State.
No man spoke it aloud,
When the honkers began to honk.

It was not suddenly bred,
It will not swiftly abate,
Through the chill years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the honkers began to honk.
When the Americans hear there's a tailgate up North:

Let's not get too optimistic.
Anyone who can tolerate his continuing rule after these speeches is batshit, Trudeau HAS to go. I don’t see how this is a debate. Only question is how that will happen, impeachment or what paths the Canadian people typically use to remove criminals from office? Idk how their system works. Shouldn’t be too hard though

Farmers joined them as well.

Oh look:

I assume Ottawans are the most hateable of Leafs, like those in the Burgerland Beltway, so I'm glad their tax dollars are being wasted on this.
*Chief calls up a patrol cop*
"Jenkins, have you rooted out the far right terrorists yet?"

*Jenkins drinking a beer and dancing with girls as dance music and honking blares in the background*
"Uh not yet chief, it's gonna be another $800,000 for the boys to keep an eye on the situation."

I'm not in Ottawa and there has been intermittent honking in my area since the speech ended, including right now lol
Thank god I live too far away from civilization to hear it.

I also agree that québécois are assholes. I went to a school with English and French and you could totally tell who’s who by how snobby they were.

I mean didns
Right, or apply copious amounts super glue to small objects and shove them in the locks of gov owned buildings. Just shelter in place, safe and law abiding citizens
I mean I think didn't obviously in another thread didn't the manosphere Coach red pill basically said get 2 toothpicks and fuck up their lucks or use bubblegum as a way to literally gum up the locks.

Assuming Canada didn't go through any weird changes to the parliamentary system, the standard way to remove a PM is as follows:
a) someone at the Parliament tables a motion of no-confidence and it passes. Government is duly expected to resign and elections follow.
b) a motion for the annual budget fails (this is a soft no confidence motion)
c) the PM themselves decides to resign, and trigger an early election. (The UK has recently done this thing where they fixed the terms of Parliament in an attempt to stop this. Allegedly it favours the ruling party to have elections at their sole discretion)
d) the head of state (governor-general in this case) exercises his discretion and removes the PM (very unlikely, the last time this happened in Australia, it triggered an absolute shitstorm and nearly got the queen removed as the Queen of Australia)

I am fairly certain that the PM is considered immune to all civil lawsuits while in office, and probably most criminal lawsuits as well.

EDIT: It is important to note for those unfamiliar with parliamentary systems is that the PM is elected from the House of Commons. Trudeau was never truly elected by the people by design. It is up to the MPs of the Commons to depose him if they so wish.

I used to abhor city noise pollution, but it's such a morale boost to hear the sound of people actually fucking standing up and starting to do something about this lockdown nonsense, that honking is now like music to my ears.
Yeah it’s different if you’re used to it. I’m currently living that cottagecore life that tiktokfags gush about.

I do not anticipate this happening. Trudeau's pseudo-coalition partners (Jagmeet Singh's NDP) are further "left" of his party, and they have shown even greater disdain for this workers' demonstration than Trudeau himself. The Liberal-NDP voting bloc has a combined majority in parliament, and I don't know what Trudeau would have to do for the NDP to stop supporting him; they've already supported him through thick and thin. I could picture Singh even standing behind him in a Tiananmen scenario. What's the NDP going to do, back Cuckservative O'Toole instead? Unthinkable.

So many rabbit holes have popped up in the past few years regarding the jab, it really boils down to individual liberty and nobody having any right to forcibly inject something into your body. Otherwise they quite literally own you from then on.

My concern is Canadians do not have a 2nd Amendment. So if the government decides to crackdown, this could turn into Hong Kong quickly.

The way truckers have stood up, it gives me hope.
I've been up there to Montreal and Toronto...for the most part, a very polite population.
But fuck with them and there's a back side to that courteous hand.

If the backbenchers revolt, a motion of no-confidence may well pass. That said, I do not know anything about Canadian politics or the likelihood of such thereof, but for the UK, governments have been toppled when the backbenchers of their own parties threatened revolt or crossed over to vote against them.

EDIT: Thinking on it, if the Liberals has any other leader, they may instead force Trudeau to resign and form a new government around a new PM.

All I know is that if farmers AND truckers AND construction workers all go on strike in protest, the surrounding area is going to be completely fucked until they make them happy

Reddit says there's only like 100 actual tractor trailers and another 100 or so passenger vehicles. Not much of an actual protest. According to Reddit.

If the government cracks down it won't turn into Hong Kong 2.0. yeah they don't have a second amendment but a gun isn't a rarity remember Canada has more gun homicides then knife homicides.

If they do crackdown there is a very good chance that the government ends up riling up the crowd.

A word of advice; literally never assume anything on Reddit is true unless they provide evidence.
