I get there's a lot of Conservative leaning leafs here and I still claim to be a moderate because both sides are absolute fuck wits. The amount of pure ignorance displayed by leafs within this thread on their own politics and history + the very clear right wing propaganda/leftist hate is pretty staggering. Sadly it's become an echo chamber rather than an actual discussion which is a great example of the failures of Canadians on a whole.

And comparing moving around vigorously in skiing in a full snow suit and protective gear in -20 weather is not comparable to out of shape folks in parkas from Walmart. Warming centers are opened for those stuck outdoors and there are regulations regarding how you would work in this temperature. You can get frost bite pretty easily, especially when you're not paying attention.

My pessimistic side sees this being used as a pretext to blame the truckers and those associated for economic suffering to come, of course entirely ignoring the idea the people who pissed them off could be the ones in the wrong.

Also I am pessimistic in general about protests. So called peaceful protests have only worked when some agent with real power already supports the cause, and likely even seeded the protests themselves. It seems the opponents of those who use protests as a political weapon have misunderstood this as the protests themselves being effective even without the action of political or physical force behind it. They should quite literally declare the disillusion of the Canadian government and put forward a trucker parliament. Untrustworthy agents of the old regime should be dragged behind semis.

I suppose the question is, at what point does it become "good optics" to actually do something to hold those misusing their power accountable? Violence begets violence, so everyone is quick to chastise those who project force, yet there appears to be no other way to right the wrongs of the modern day. All coercion, all politics, is ultimately physical. Our enemies are masters at obfuscating that. They will not be out obfuscated; they will only be purged by honest application of this principle. When will a critical mass of people accept this? Everyone is willing to keep going down this path of lies and nightmares all because they are too cowardly to use the most honest form of power to oppose it. Violence need not break out yet what is necessary is for any real opposition to the powers that be to develop the capacity for it, regardless of the screeching of mouthpieces of the regime.

Not to mention everything that takes attention away from stopping migration of non Europeans in to European territories (and the even more suppressed notion of reversing it and punishing those responsible) is on some level a distraction from what actually would make people's lives better and suppress tyranny the most.

Shepherds got heat for allegedly giving out meals to a protestor and quickly distanced themselves from all of it. They know where they are and they know the score.

The vid is a bunch of boomer talking to each other in some sort of audio chat thing. Each message is recorded and sent so it's not a live call. It's super weird and boomery. No where in the video does anyone suggest stealing anything.

Based on past history of things like this, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that there was bullying but not from the truckers.

I'll give you a Redpill, blackpill, and white pill in all of this.

First let's start of the Redpill.
All movements at some level are expressedly backed by the elites in some way. When it comes to the reaction to covid Russia initially peddled tons of false information about how bad the vaccines were. However most of their respective populaces bought into the propaganda meant for the west. This is why you really haven't seen alot lockdowns in Russia. So far the country has been rather meddling in COVID deaths and things are mostly back to normal.

The blackpill - the vaccines effectiveness hasn't been foolproof and in fact is seeming less effective then first thought. While one might think in the face of obvious evidence one would retract. But the problem is too many people are emotionally invested in COVID. Either they're emotionally invested because they get to feel like a hero or special for being vaxxed. The other side either likes it for the control ie you're a powerless loser but because you have the correct opinions on the coof you're powerful now. Weak people especially don't like to give up power. This has unfortunately made the Covidians, despite being a much smaller portion of the population then once thought. They are extremely fanatical the only way one destroys fanasticsim without killing them is via humiliation. But since we're basically at irl shitposting to get the points across. Regardless of which side that just escalates the risk for conflict much more.

The white pill - once they realized they couldn't ignore the protesters they went immediately to demonization. This shows me that these protests threaten their moral poistition. Also whennit comes to sheer turnout and people who are there either see demonization stories or don't see themselves on TV it radicalizes people. It turns out lying and slandering people only backfires most times. Weather the protesters win and are given a bone and the mandates and covid policy ends, which hooray you won.
This continues on and more people get polarized. Thus becoming more fanatical in this case violence becomes the answer.
Lastly is the protesters make their point heard but don't leave a message and we see January 6th style charges brought up because you dated criticize the government.

Lots of talk of raiding Zello channels on Reddit. Zello is some boomer shit that became popular for stuff like this when the "cajun navy" used it for a bit during the hurricanes. I think they moved on to something else after the internet trolls and useless out of area people found their channels. There is no way of knowing if anyone on Zello is inOttawa or San Fransisco. Its a cellphone app. My bet is its just Reddit trolling Reddit at this point. Thats all they can do. Pointless internet shit that has no impact IRL.

Besides, truckers have the real thing. CB's. Which will easily cover the area they are at. They don't need to larp with some faggy app.
