This poor naive fuck was actually trying, and making a sincere attempt to learn and understand the terminology and factors at play, and now he's a shitlord for asking questions.
Had he been content to live in ignorance, not given a fuck, and said nothing, he wouldn't have been attacked.
Honestly, this is beautiful. Tumblr slacktivism in a nutshell. It actively rewards the people who don't give a shit about the issue, and reinforces the idea that when it comes to working towards equal rights for everyone regardless of identity, you're probably better off not bothering.
 
The whole concept of headcanons is that they are canon for you, not for everybody else.
So if I'm saying Daisy is a trans woman, that's 100% cool, but I can't go around pushing it unto everyone else because that make that a theory, which is not canon.

There are saner artists who are fed up with people doing this, since it's essentially random idiots trying to claim a personal connection with a piece of artwork they had nothing to do with. Of course, this person clearly passed the point of sanity long ago...

Also, statements like these always get me.

I've never understood this idea of shipping incest or pedophilia as a coping mechanism for being molested or whatever. In what possible way could that help? I think they're just making shit up so they have an excuse to flick the bean to yaoi of Rick and Morty and other perverted shit.

While not on Tumblr, I've seen someone write intense child porn fanfic, stating over and over that it was a way of coping with trauma.

Thankfully those in charge of that page weren't having it (plus it goes against site ToS) and deleted it.

Since they insist on spewing it everywhere, it's also contemptuous of people whose actual sex abuse causes them to be legitimately "triggered" by it, since that's one of the few fucking things that even normal people will agree is actually a traumatic experience that can lead to real and not tumblr PTSD.
