Waittaminute... If he's "Isolating" from a Covid exposure, Then what's this about him heading for Germany?
It's pretty boring most of the time. Which is why I spend a lot of time shitposting here. Hope that helps. So how accurate to the life of a trucker is "Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing"? I assume it's a 100% accurate simulation.
Agreed. City people are the weirdo aliens who are the problem. There's this truckstop in Overton Nebraska I always stop at ran by immigrant Indians. Great little place though not super fancy. Good restaurant if you are down with the food. Cheap diesel. And all the rural townsfolk seamlessly blend with it. Last time I was in they were teaching a couple local HS farm girls how to run the diesel desk. This isn't entirely true. The immigrants that get dumped into cities certainly do feel that way, but there are plenty of "New Canadians" in rural communities, too, but they're pretty based and are much more like the locals than one would expect. They may talk funny and cook weird, but they usually just want to be left alone and not preyed upon by urban super predators like the rest of the locals.
That's the I-15 border crossing in Sweetgrass, MT in 'Murican in case anyone was wondering. Also to reinforce the scale of this protest it's not just Ottawa affected. The Coutts border crossing in Alberta (a key trucking crossing into the US) has been shut down by protestors. If this carries on into Monday and beyond things are going to get spicy.
Fuck I saw more than I wanted to.There's some great images coming out of this, and hilariously from mainstream media as well. Actual Canada in a nutshell:

Nova Scotia just recently hit the 1 million population mark for the entire province.I thought Nova Scotia was super rural?
I'm really sure that the truckers, most of whom have assuredly driven in countless Canadian winters thought that Trudeau magically dropped the temperature on them like a Marvel movie villain or something. Of all the things that happened, that happened the most. Not mine. Grabbed them off of the wannabe neogaf website where people unironically think these people are fascists.

Oh that city ain't sleeping tonight. Hope it goes on for a week.Maybe I'm just a simple country girl, but I thought "the city that never sleeps" was a literal reality, so being told that every night isn't a loud block party is disillusioning for me. I thought city folk were cooler than that.
Shhhhhh...........I'm really sure that the truckers, most of whom have assuredly driven in countless Canadian winters thought that Trudeau magically dropped the temperature on them like a Marvel movie villain or something. Of all the things that happened, that happened the most.
I thought so. It's a nice little park. They also found the location of the photo, right behind the Chateau Laurier in Major's Hill Park.
One obvious mistake that they continue to make is that they think these truckers are as flawed and soft as them and in the same ways. Oh, they are just racist. Oh, they are just stupid. Oh, they are just weak.I'm really sure that the truckers, most of whom have assuredly driven in countless Canadian winters thought that Trudeau magically dropped the temperature on them like a Marvel movie villain or something. That Bolivia video is adorable. They even have Canadian flags!
Terry Fox championed cancer research and advancements in treatment of the disease that was killing him. Had he been diagnosed two years before, he had a 10% chance to live.in two years they had developed enough experimental research to give him the time to become the icon we know. He was also studying kinesiology. He ran across Canada because he was mad we were not funding the efforts of what appeared to be treatable. Not by force. The type of dude to run across the 2nd largest country in the world (we have more land than China, right) on ONE LEG isn't likely the kind of guy to demand that other people be forced to undergo an irreversible medical treatment for his own comfort. He was a man who sought unity during strife, not discord.
