It's true. People are generally pro-vaccine. This protest, however, is anti-mandate which are extremely unpopular. Trucking is the most pointlessly over-regulated industry in existence. Piling more on finally broke the camel's back and they had enough.

See above. North American regs, particularly US ones, have been ratcheting up for the last couple decades. Electronic logging device tattletales, increased inspections, almost yearly changes to hours-of-service rules that make no sense, fucking CAMERAS in trucks. Gee, I wonder why people aren't flocking to the industry anymore? It's a real mystery.

The hilarious part is the double standard. This statue was decorated with easily removed articles of clothing and a flag. Leftists/ANTIFA/BLM like to desecrate statues with spray-painted epithets and other cosmetic damage that is not so easily removed or repaired. And during the Summer of Floyd in 2020, they constantly desecrated statues of actual abolitionists like the memorial plaque to the Massachusetts 54th Regiment led by Robert Gould Shaw in the Boston Common. That particular level of hypocrisy bruised me in particular because I got to watch the film Glory back in middle school, which was a retelling of Shaw's ill-fated charge on Fort Wagner during the Civil War.

Is it from BC? Looks like it could be from the Albertan foothills too. Regardless, I hope Ottawa is enjoying it's freedom logs and sweet, sweet cacophony of horns. The funniest part to me is that pets generally will adjust to noises pretty quick, but Redditors will not, so soon we'll probably hear about them having mental breakdowns on the toilet because they can't pee in peace due to the HONK HONK.
 
It seems to have evolved into a "Fuck Trudeau" street dance party. That's one way to stay warm I guess 💕. Meanwhile, Ottawa Redditors are still seething.
