There's no way a Tiananmen Square type of response would happen. That would be a complete publicity disaster and we would see the Canadian government get condemned on an international scale by big name politicians abroad. Not to mention, it would escalate domestic tensions to a previously unseen level. Trudeau's own party would throw him under the bus at that point.

If the Truckers aren't able to force a political reshuffle, we'll probably see mass arrests and show trials like January 6th. In the meantime, I think the government will do everything they can to get the truckers to cave. Seizing funds, declaring curfews, preventing the delivery of food/water from supporters and arresting family members who stayed at home but are tangentially involved are some of the plays that I expect to see from the government if this lasts past the weekend.

I imagine the threats of pulling their operating authority will begin soon. Extra cuck provinces can revoke their fuel tax agreement too. Lots of ways to fuck with commercial vehicles in the regs. It's why you usually don't see trucker protests.

I hope these guys are aware of how serious this shit can get and didn't drive a truck there that they aren't willing to lose.
