Yeah thats what I was basically meaning. They were the music by extension necessarily always wasn't, some broached more into that area with militaristic stuff like Mayhem and Marduk.

I was always really confused by the Gadsden flag since it has a rattlesnake on it and I could have sworn those only lived in the west nowhere near New England but I guess not. Geese are bastards and much more scary than rattlesnakes, when I used to work in commiefornia there would be at least one or two rattlesnakes in the barns while I was working and all they would ever do is sit in a corner. Geese on the other hand are such assholes they can hurt you despite not even being there. One of my friends who goes to public parks to look for duck eggs accidentally got a goose egg and it made him sick for like a weak straight.

Point being geese are bastards, rattlesnakes are cool and they also taste pretty decent so the goose is a better symbol for the flag if you ask me.

There are multiple species of rattlesnake, and historically Timber Rattlesnakes had a wide range in New England before habitat change removed them.

Also the whole point of using a rattlesnake in the Gadsden flag was as a warning - we'll keep to ourselves, but push us and we'll strike back with deadly force.
