I'm pretty impressed so far in terms of optics. Haven't really seen or heard anything outrageous except for that one ADVOCATE guy, who was probably a fed. I know the gov't and media are just waiting to pounce on any bad apple they can find to smear everybody, so it shows a pretty good degree of discipline on the part of everybody involved; no slip-ups. All the gov't and media's pronouncements about violent extremism (at least so far) is starting to look about as ridiculous as when the media tried to meme the Joker movie screenings into some kind of mass casualty event. It remains to be seen how much of a real impact this will have on policy, but in terms of optics (lol) this has been an immense success for the truckers so far. "Fringe minority" lmao. They've also done an excellent job at pissing off redditors and people on Twitter and so far I believe it has all been well worth it.

Also, regarding the attached pic, it's simply not possible to get them out that quickly. Towing big trucks is a big hassle and requires special equipment, and towing them without a compliant driver to hand over the keys is even harder. With the number of people and vehicles in place now, a restoration of order would be a lot later than Sunday evening. Even if all the truckers left and just clogged everything with parked trucks, it could potentially take weeks.
