Maybe Musk is spotlighting the movement so that his own autonomous vehicle programs will get more funding? This could just be the standard internet autist overestimation of new tech though, I've little faith in the ability to solve the last-mile problem with robo-trucks when meat packing bots keep slicing chicken drumsticks through the bone marrow rather than the correct joint and strategy game AI is still incapable of being good at anything more complex than Chess.
They don't care, it's the technology they want everyone to have therefore it must be used everywhere. No different than how they push green technology which is pretty much futuristic shit that requires a bunch of infrastructure. Or how a business might demand everyone use some brand new software that must be always connected to the internet to work instead of the boring reliable shit that they've always used. Or the mRNA vaccines, another futuristic technology that they decided everyone must use, I could go on for hours about how these people love doing this shit.

Why, I'm not sure, but since you see it in businesses, I think it's some sort of inherent human mindset, the mindset of which lends itself well to the managerial class.
All the stops are out now. This is the final push of globohomo. If COVID fails, they'll have to "Build Back Better" their own apparatus and wait another two generations before trying again.
They just need to wait a generation or so until we've mostly forgotten the scamdemic and then release another virus, except this time they'll actually have the shit they want like microchips in vaccines and be able to institute microchip vaccine passports on a large scale. Most of them will probably still be alive, in 20 years Klaus Schwab won't be much older than Henry Kissinger is (or David Rockefeller was before Satan finally got around to claiming his soul) and don't forget the next generation of globohomo elite like Alexander Soros.

Canada is still a dream. It still maintains low crime rates
You know that's not true, right? The crime rates cited in media are from Statistics Canada and are curated based on criminal convictions which themselves are curated by Crown Prosecutors pleading down everything or just outright dropping charges. Also, crime rates rely on people reporting crime. Most people don't. I grew up in a very low income neighborhood. Rapes and unprovoked, random attacks with weapons were accepted as part of life by the locals and usually went unreported to the police.

Look to the RCMP releases of reported crimes based on data collected from the various police agencies in Canada. A very different picture is presented there.

I say two because they need to first get people who think the actions taken to fight COVID were justified and the correct course of action to write textbooks saying this, and then use those to poison the minds of the generation that follows. The way Trudeau Sr. became greatest PM in all of Westminster-System democracies ever.

The 5-11 bracket are who we'll need to keep close eyes on in the coming years.

The fire of liberty must be eternally stoked lest it be snuffed out forever more.

Slightly off-topic but the reason why Trudeau is in isolation was one of his kids got corona-chan.

But still, talk about a strange timing....
This morning, Sun media said his contact was a co-worker and that he tested negative but was isolating "in accordance with local guidelines" . . . except Ontario guidelines only require isolation for positive tests.

More damage control to hide him away. His protection detail really need to remember the Oaths they took to start their careers.

Question to all the leaf-farmers since this seems like one of the best places to ask. Was Rob Ford actually as based as videos lead to me to believe? All I know about him is that he smoked crack and called Trudeau a faggot. Would leafland be in a better place if he was still alive and PM instead of Castro's bastard?

It does help distract from the Biden presidency so that could be a contributing factor, but the only alternative to "it's afraid" I can think of is if this is some kind of gay op to hype up the movement (50,000 trucks, soaring media coverage, it taking place in one of the most cucked countries in the English speaking world &c. &c.) only for it to get hijacked by some Jack Murphy tier grifter, fall flat on its ass, and blackpill everyone to the right of Mao. That is hopefully too convoluted to be true.

Also I found this

Musk can't even get a car to drive automated through his faggy grift tunnel in Las Vegas. True self driving is decades away.

About time some people actually went out and fucking did something about this country. If they're able to generate such a fervor from trucking across Canada then maybe people will get off their asses and vote Trudeau out.

Isn't Trudeau term limited at this point?

More Fox News coverage

Germans have begun to mobilize

Speaking of which, would there be a chance for the Canadian Constitution to be re-written, to allow for infinite terms, like how Xi and Chavez did?
There are no term limits in Canada. And there have been rumors in, other, circles about Trudeau trying to convince the Governor-General to suspend the constitution outright.

Aw jeez fellas, the stories about 100 trucks might have been a smidge of cope. Here’s the southern leg parking outside parliament tonight. The west is still on the way.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=LI7EA36s29k
I like this channel btw.
The south convoy travelled a 6 hour drive. There are only so many trucks, people and miles between Windsor and Ottawa. There was another south convoy from Fort Erie (Peace Bridge to Buffalo), which is only a 5 hour drive. The east convoy coming from the Maritimes will be much bigger but the west is the biggest.

Edited cuz its late and I'm tarded.

I think people are too focused on the truckers themselves. You have to look at the amount of normie support: hundreds (thousands?) of regular people and kids hanging out on every overpass, in the middle of buttfuck nowhere, just to watch cars drive by for hours & handing out food in -20C... that's where the important part was. They started a genuine momentum with non-crazy anti-mandate people. A good indicator of this is the conservatives finally getting off their asses. Seems like they were just waiting around for a sign that their base was done.

I don't remember Occupy Wallstreet having supporters like that, but that just might be cope lol

The donations raised also tells the story. You do not get >$5 million - and almost entirely from small grassroots donations to boot - if there isn't a large undercurrent of support for your cause, especially when said cause is being constantly criticised and screamed at by media and politicians both. There's a lot of pent up anger and frustration across Canada right now, this is simply the first outburst which has successfully tapped into it.

Unfortunately not, there are no constitutional limits for time in office. What usually (but not always) winds up happening is when a PM loses an election and enters the opposition they resign their leadership position (and often from politics entirely too) given it's a clear sign they've grown too long in the tooth.

This has more or less prevented Canadian PMs serving longer than 10 years and Trudeau is no exception. The results of the last election for example (even though a technical win for the Liberals) have already raised rumours the party brass will demand he step down shortly, and that's only grown with recent polling now showing him underwater within his own party. Again, no guarantee he'll actually be ousted anytime soon, but the signs are there he's now on a timer.

Yes and no. If you bother to look at the trucks they are all independents. Owner-operators. No boss or fleet owner is going to let you just take their rig across the country to a protest. These guys own those trucks. They are the professional core of the industry and much sharper than the average joe. They run their own operations without a safety net as self-employed contractors. It's a different game than most employment and these guys just put tens of thousands of dollars of their own gear on the line and spent thousands of dollars in diesel to participate. They aren't the ignorant hillbillies you are painting a picture of.

I mentioned hangers-on earlier. That is where what you say is true. Local drivers, while some can be good, are also filled with the guys who need minders. Then you have all the folks following in regular cars. This group, far more than the owner-ops, are going to be the PR nightmare and it is because the cost of entry into that group is so low.
I'm the first one in this thread to note that they're owner operators and I stand by my description of them.

Re: crime in Canada - And if you honestly cannot see the difference between the crime rates of India vs the crime rates of Canada and understand why someone would want to immigrate here then you've clearly never been outside of the country. There is no ghetto in Canada that matches a third world ghetto, period.

Re: Occupy Wallstreet was over 50k strong that held out for weeks if not months in the hundreds in tents into the winter time. You can be very stubborn about having no logical goal sometimes.

Re: Rob Ford's brother has destroyed Ontario and is a living meme like his brother. Both are incompetent and come from a family of rich drug dealing criminals.

Finally in all these pages the only reason I can conceive of this convoy is "end all mandatea" which Trudeau cannot do. They needed to protest their individual Premiers. If the Premiers decide not to listen to Trudeau politely asking them to drop mask mandates then they've decided not to listen and they stay. They cannot do long haul into the states because of American mandates. They are not fighting for the housing or employment or inflation.

Let me know when a real worker uprising begins.

One thing that I do have to wonder is how all those trucks and cars with "F🍁ck Trudeau" decals and stickers and the like get them in the past few days. This had to be planned at least a month or two in advanced for this type of country-wide protest to take care of getting all the orders out in time and even doing custom fittings on some trailers that I saw, with some pretty unique designs too. I haven't looked into the history of the protest or the organizers, and I'm not saying that I don't fully support the protest when I say this, but it gives me this weird feeling that it isn't as organic as it portrays itself to be. Anybody else?

Last year there was a house that had that flag that caught media attention, sadly can't find the og article but this is the update from earlier this month: https://nationalpost.com/news/canad...lying-anti-trudeau-flag-after-town-backs-down

I know a lot of people bought those flags after that, maybe they were all truckers lol

I saw those all over Alberta here during the last Election, with the truck decals being a staple here in the North. Considering the sentiment hasn't gone down, I'm pretty sure a lot of those are people's personal flags they've kept.

Oh, it makes sense now. I knew canucks didn't like their PM, but didn't figure it would get to "Let's go Brandon!" level of open distain like here in the states. I just don't see it outside of rebel news and here.

One more video to add to the pile as I remembered this scene existed.

You’d think that judging by the media’s reaction, along with Twitter and Reddit’s, that these truckers weren’t just going to seize Ottawa but also start removing trannies in the same fashion Serbians did to Kebabs
