You should beat yourself up, Lou... this has been a horrifying arc. I havn't lurked on this thread for long, but now I can see quite clearly why there's over 1000 pages on this guy. Listening to his forced-compassion voice on that video of his poor dying cat is in equal parts infuriating and heartbreaking.

I knew it was kidney failure, my little guy (first ever pet when I got my own apartment ages ago) succumbed to the same thing and I still kick myself for not getting him down to the vet sooner. As soon as they saw me come in, bawling, with my cat in a blanket they got me in quickly and took care of him, no charge. They're not monsters, they want to help for the PET'S sake.

That cat had already had trouble urinating prior to this, for a long time. The crystallization is so painful for them. They need special foods and meds for the rest of their lives when they develop this condition.

I will, hand to heart, never get another pet that I foresee that I MAY not be able to care for in the future. 19 year old me was just excited to have a furfriend, no malice whatsoever intended 10 years down the line.

I hope they don't replace Lover, and there should be registries for these kinds of people so they cannot adopt in the future. Poor baby. Having just lost our old girl makes this grift really get to me, sorry for adding to the PL/pet sperging but I had to get that out. Fuck you, Lou.

If not for his earlier antics, I want to see furries disown and cancel him for this - aren’t furries supposed to care about animals more than the average weirdo? What am I saying, they don’t care about animals beyond their fetishes.
