Yea but it's a standard complaining, no one likes being in debt or high costs.Doctors and lawyers do complain about it sometimes. Even the ones that got theirs paid off quickly. The cost of education is extortionate, after all. They just have more to do than to be on reddit bitching about it all day, so you usually only see it when you ask them about it.
This is why I find myself laughing at the American left so much. Their ideas are retarded. Their leaders are all plutocrats with a vested interest in maintaining the status quo, while their footsoldiers, for all their big-worded dialectic, can't actually conceive of political reform beyond "capitalism but I get free stuff".It's funny how the cost of education ballooned once loans became pretty much guaranteed, much like healthcare premiums shot up when health insurance became mandatory. What a coinky-dink, that one. It's almost as if guaranteeing income results in price increases because the entities involved have found a money teat they can suck dry.
Maybe they could learn to drive trucks, or stock shelves?
please no, We have enough retards stocking shelves already we don't need those sorts.stock shelves?
To be fair some STEM degrees (mainly Biology, NGL) pay garbage post-graduation; yet are one of the fields you genuinely need higher education for.If you got a degree that's worth something you wouldn't really be complaining about debt to the point you want taxpayers to cover it. You don't hear lawyers or doctors complaining about their student debt like that, as an example.
What would we even need truck drivers for in a modern iNfoRmaTioN eCoNomY?Maybe they could learn to drive trucks, or stock shelves?
Considering California seems to think trucks are the Great Satan, no. They could not learn to drive trucks. And no one is stocking shelves when there's nothing to put on them.Maybe they could learn to drive trucks, or stock shelves?
Noone in their right mind would ever consider those to be eminently qualified, even among the tards in the Senate. more likely than not the ACS has handed them a list curated by Schumer or Durbin along the lines of McConnells list that was curated by the federalist societyGoing by the way bidens handlers pick em, like the eco terrorist thats running land management, it'll either be Xavier Becerra, a cartoonishly evil gun grabber that was the california AG that's somehow now the head of health and human services, or Chesa Boudin a literal dyed in the wool weather underground member.
I take it you haven't been around top many public defenders thenIf you got a degree that's worth something you wouldn't really be complaining about debt to the point you want taxpayers to cover it. You don't hear lawyers or doctors complaining about their student debt like that, as an example.
I've dealt with the worse and the best of them. They're really bad at shoplifting I'll say that much.I take it you haven't been around top many public defenders then
H1B labor is the biggest scam. The other half of this is that any degree requiring job is being flooded with cheap H1B labor cutting the potential for employment /wages and paying off that debt. Make student debt dischargeable with bankruptcy AND stop the H1B pipeline would fix all of these problems in 10 years.
Hey that is not fair, it takes plenty of practice to shit in the streets.I'm pretty sure that community colleges in America have higher educational standards than Indian Master Degree courses.
Not even that, it's more of a showing on the lack of critical thinking skills. If we could just "forgive" the national debt...The fact so many people think the debt can just be "forgiven" really shows just how fucking awful the education system in the US is all around, I think.

I'd say psychology is probably the most useless STEM degree you can get. Is it even considered STEM anymore? To be fair some STEM degrees (mainly Biology, NGL) pay garbage post-graduation; yet are one of the fields you genuinely need higher education for.
However, the issue is also that by over-saturating the market they can make virtually any Bachelors worth less ("when everyone has a bachelors, no one has a bachelors" so to speak), and that the easily available student loans over-inflating the price of college both fuck over people who legitimately need higher ed.
That being said I know a shitload of hippie bio checks who got the same fucking degree as I did, with no more undergrad lab/research time than I did who somehow racked up 50K+ in student debt for shit that I managed to float by on scholarship.
No one has any fucking money because the economy was systemically destroyed over a flu.View attachment 2925613

Yes, I'm OK with burning a financial + education system that is knowingly exploiting 17 and 18 year olds when they have increased the price way past its value due to them knowing the money is guaranteed by the gov and cannot be removed in bankruptcy. The debts is far too big to just be "forgiven" at this point. Blood must be spilled and if the studets had any brains, they'd push back against the retarded costs of being a student instead of shitting their ass because they were too stupid realize that their feminism degree might not score a 500k per year job.
Nothing in life is free. If you write off any debts, that means you just burned someone else's shit.
That's the problem.
Maybe or maybe they learned their lesson and won't. We won't know, and everyone is different. But it isn't fair that someone can take a load for 35k pay 30k of it and end up owing 90k still due to interest. This is going on currently and obviously this person specifically didn't take the loan at the time underwater basket weaving was a degree option. They already fucked themselves over. If someone is that stupid to get that deep into debts without a way out, no fucking way you'll have a cozy shmozy life afterwards. They'll just do other stupid shit without taking responsibility.
No, they will be able to afford having kids, potentially getting a house, actually huilding assets. The mass amount of debt, particularly among younger people means it's harder to do all of those things in a responsible fashion. That is bad for everyone including the financial system long term.Oh so now they'll contribute to the economy. Right. They'll do it by burning a million bucks they already wasted.
Usary. You can do all that and still be in debt due to the interest rates. If you don't want to be a debt slave, live like a monk and work like young Chinese boy in a shoe factory.
Almost everyone I know who complains about student debt are doctors, lawyers, engineers, and others with professional degrees. Not the lesbian dance theory ones. The students are the parasites tho. They take on massive debt for a gay degree that won't help them, then they bitch and whine about how could this have happened.
Somehow you don't hear military servicemen complaining about this shit a lot.
Yes. See above. I don't have to like them, or think they made good choices to see how theassive amount of debt they are under has a practical and psychological effect on them. You really think all these people with communication, philosophy and gender studies degrees are being held back somehow?
Feature not bug. The financial system is broken. You should not have a debt based system like we currently have. The sooner it breaks the better off everyone will be despite how painful it will be. The longer you hold it off the worse it will be when it collapses on its own. There are about $1.5 trillion in student loan-backed assets capitalizing the banking system. If the feds just order that to all be written down to $0.00, congratulations, our banking system is now insolvent. What's the next step?
National debt and student loans are two entirely different things. The federal goverment is backing the student loans. The national debt isn't backed by the US. That's money the US owes to various institutions/people/ect. The government is absolutely able to forgive all of the student loans currently, we've already seen them do it for a small amount of people. They should do it for everyone because it will be in the best interests of the actual citizenry. Then make it so student loans can be removed, with all the other penalties, via bankruptcy. Not even that, it's more of a showing on the lack of critical thinking skills. If we could just "forgive" the national debt...
You get the picture.
