It would be the most farcial circus ever. Firstly there is an argument that she'd have to resign her position to even accept the nomination. That locks the Senate at a 50-50 R/D with no tiebreaker, and probably no ability to then fill the vacant VP slot because that takes a majority vote too. Moving on to her actually being submitted, if all Rs vote NO you have a 50/50 tie which she can't break in any case. It wouldn't go through, period.
So she'd have to suffer having every gaffe she's ever made, ever shitty DA decision, every bad bit of press resurfacing to get trotted out to explain why she shouldn't be on SCOTUS. The exposure makes people hate her even more because humans recoil from skinsuit demons, Twitter bots make KweenSlay gifs, everyone is shamed. After that parade of humiliation the appointment fails along party lines and she gets nothing.
And remember that this clown show will be livestreamed for at least a month.

Plus differently named variations of thereof, with lots of scallions and sour cream.

Anyone can be nominated to SCOTUS, there are no requirements for the job you don't even need to be an American citizen or have a law degree. It's never happened before but it's completely possible that it could. In a hypothetical scenario Harris is nominated and accepts, this also provides that Dems have the votes to approve her. Biden can then pretty much immediately nominate someone else to be VP.
Historically when Spiro Agnew stepped down as VP under Nixon within 2 days of his resignation Nixon nominated Gerald Ford to be his new VP.
